A home on Warrenton Road was destroyed by a fallen tree, and widespread tree and power line damage occurred around the city. Numerous trees were blown down onto Interstate 20 east of Vicksburg including several which fell onto vehicles.

03:04Z 56 TX Lee Manheim A thunderstorm produced wind gusts of 56 kts measured by a personal weather station in Manheim.
03:14Z 74 MS Neshoba Kitchener A line of severe thunderstorms produced a swath of significant damaging winds that was up to 3 to 4 miles wide and approximately 18 miles long across the southern half of Neshoba County. Along this swath, numerous trees and power lines were blown down. The Dixon and Good Hope communities were most impacted, with damage becoming more scattered on the south side of Philadelphia to near Tucker. Along this damage swath, several homes were impacted by fallen trees, the roof of a mobile home was displaced, the roofs of multiple outbuildings were damaged or blown off, a small barn collapsed, a shed was blown down, and two chicken houses sustained roof damage. Peak winds were estimated at 85 MPH in two areas of more focused damage - along County Road 339 north of the Dixon community and along County Road 341 and County Road 410 east of Dixon. Over two dozen homes were damaged including 21 which suffered major damage or were destroyed.

03:35Z 87 MS Scott Forest A line of severe thunderstorms produced a swath of significant damaging winds starting northeast of Forest in Scotty County. In this swath, thousands of trees and numerous power lines and power poles were blown down. Trees were uprooted and snapped. Over 50 homes were damaged by both fallen trees and wind, including 32 which suffered major damage or were destroyed. Several mobile homes were rolled and destroyed. Several sheds and garages were also destroyed. There were five injuries including two in mobile homes on Towner Road and McMillan Road and and three in a house on Jim Owens Road. The peak of the damage occurred just west of Salem road near Old Highway 80 north of Lake where tree damage was extensive and estimated peak winds were 100 mph. Damage continued into Newton County and through the south side of Conehatta where estimated peak winds decreased to around 85 mph with numerous trees uprooted. The significant wind damage ended northwest of Decatur. The swath length was over 15 miles across both counties, and its width varied between three to five miles. A 64-year old woman in the Harperville area died from health complications after power was lost at her home, and downed trees on surrounding roadways prevented her evacuation to medical care.
