A trained spotter estimated wind gusts to 65 mph on the east side of Evansville. Small tree limbs were down from Darmstadt southeast across the Evansville metro area. Utility crews worked to restore power, but a few thousand customers were without power through the day.

A tree fell onto and severely damaged a trailer at the Robinson Trailer Park in Inez. A man became trapped in his home in due to downed power lines surrounding the residence, and was still trapped as of that evening. All of the storm damage occurred roughly between 140 pm and 215 pm EDT. However, as of 6:30 pm EDT, power was still out across most of the county.

01:35Z 65 SC Charleston Drayton A National Weather Service Storm Survey Team confirmed straight-line thunderstorm wind damage consistent with an estimated maximum wind speed of 70 to 75 mph in the Wando Woods Subdivision. The most concentrated damage was found along Flynn Drive west of Holbird Street where numerous medium to large trees limbs were snapped off. Flying debris broke a few windows and produced minor shingle and exterior damage to north and west facing surfaces of a few homes. A large trampoline was also propelled 150 feet toward the southeast of its original location and destroyed.

A pine tree fell on Hometown Pizza but there was no damage to the building. Mesonet station UGA81 Nahunta measured a 40 mph thunderstorm wind gust at 10:30 PM EST.
