A tree was blown down onto Mississippi Highway 27 at Newman Road, which resulted in an 18 wheeler accident. Additional trees were blown down near the intersection of Morrison Cemetery Road and Adams Station Road, along Jackson Raymond Road and MS Highway 18 near Raymond, on Mississippi Highway 467 near its intersection with Military Road, and at Mississippi Highway 18 and Siwell Road. As the line moved through Jackson, a peak wind gust of 75 mph out of the west-southwest was measured by the Hawkins Field Airport ASOS site KHKS.

Trees were blown down at the Goshen Springs Campground along Mississippi Highway 43, docks and boats at Sunset Marina were damaged, and a tree was uprooted and fell into power lines along Gin Road. Many small branches were also blown down in the area. Winds were estimated to be 60 to 70 mph by an NWS employee in the area.
