03:45Z 56 TX Johnson Joshua Arpt Amateur radio reported power poles and trees down near Highway 174 at Highway 3048. A second report of shed damage and minor damage to gutters and shingles at a home in this same location was also received.
03:55Z 55 TX Lamar Deport Emergency management reported a metal roof partially torn off of a building in Deport, TX.
04:00Z 55 TX Johnson Alvarado Emergency management reported shingle damage on multiple homes across several neighborhoods on the north side of Alvarado. Additional reports of fence damage was also received. The swath of scattered wind damage extended to the northwest of Venus, south of the path of a tornado and likely associated with strong winds in the RFD.
04:00Z 53 TX Johnson Lillian A small building was blown over. Pieces were scattered on top of another structure and over fencing. Two empty metal livestock tanks were blown. One struck a parked tractor and was crushed. The other flew about 50 yards and caught against a fence. A carport, which is part of a house, was lifted enough to dislodge the support beam holding up the structure. Large tree limbs, 6-8 inches in diameter, were brought down and blocked the driveway. No people or livestock were injured.
04:05Z 61 TX Johnson Venus Several mobile homes, roofs (shingles and metal panels), sheds, and outbuildings were damaged in the Homestead area north of Venus.
04:13Z 74 TX Ellis Ward The RFD of the supercell that produced the EF-0 tornado west of Midlothian caused considerable wind damage south of the path. Along Miller and S Weatherford Roads barns, sheds, trees and roofs were damaged. The LaSalle Corporation business building along Hwy 67 sustained significant roof damage to metal panels on the west side of the building. On the west side of Midlothian, an 18 wheeler was overturned at the Love's Truck Stop.

04:22Z 56 TX Bowie South Texarkana A 64 mph wind gust was measured at the Texarkana RAWS station (TEXT2).
04:30Z 50 TX Ellis Midlothian A public report indicated a 12-inch tree blown over approximately 4 miles south-southwest of Ovilla, TX.
05:09Z 65 TX Kaufman Scurry A ground survey and radar analysis determined straight-line winds of 70-75 mph caused a swath of tree, sign, and minor roof damage from near the Scurry area to US 175 north of Kemp.

05:27Z 52 TX Morris Omaha A tree was blown down on County Road 3304.
05:35Z 48 TX Kaufman Prairieville Trees down across power lines to the east of Kemp.
05:36Z 70 TX Van Zandt Roddy Ground survey and radar analysis indicated straight-line winds along a bowing segment caused a long swath of 75-85 mph winds across southeastern Van Zandt County. In this area, trees were damaged, metal structures/barns were damaged or destroyed, & the roofs of some homes were damaged. The damage swath was approximately 1.75-2.5 miles wide across the center line of this entry.

06:37Z 87 TX Smith Whitehouse A downburst affected much of the southern and eastern sections of the city of Whitehouse, resulting in numerous trees being snapped and uprooted along its path. The majority of the more significant damage occurred in an east-southeasterly direction, which began in the Willows subdivision just west of Willingham Road, where several small Bradford pear trees were snapped, and small areas of shingles were ripped from the roofs of a couple of homes with winds estimated in the range of 70-75 mph. The winds from this downburst intensified as it crossed Willingham Road, affecting several streets along and to the west of Highway 110. Here, numerous hardwood trees and large limbs were snapped and uprooted, with winds consistent of 90-95 mph. Trees fell on at least 4 homes in this area. The maximum winds near 100 mph from this downburst were estimated as it impacted the Whitehouse Mobile Home and RV Park, where multiple large trees were snapped and uprooted. Unfortunately, one fatality occurred here as a large pine tree fell onto an RV on Barbara Drive, killing a 71 year-old male sleeping inside. Additional large hardwood trees were downed along and to the north of Hagan Road, Railroad Avenue, before weakening as it entered the Waterton subdivision on East Main Street. It should be noted that wind damage was noted across much of Smith County and East Texas from these severe thunderstorms.

08:05Z 56 LA Webster Holly Spgs A tree was blown down across Highway 79 just north of Grider Road northeast of Minden. A motorist was killed when the vehicle he was driving struck this fallen tree.

08:22Z 52 LA De Soto Mansfield A tree was blown down onto a home on Amy Gee Lane in Mansfield. Other trees were blown down across the northern half of Desoto Parish as well.
08:28Z 52 LA Red River Hall Summit A tree was blown down along Highway 371 south of Highway 514 on the east side of Hall Summit.
08:29Z 65 LA Lincoln Crossroads About 20 trees were blown down along and across Highway 146 about a half-mile west of Highway 545.
08:38Z 74 LA Union Cooley Trees down on Highway 550 and Village Creek Road east of Bernice. Numerous trees were downed elsewhere across Union Parish including Highway 33 north at the Union Parish Elementary School, Highway 33 south at Hicks Frazier Road, Highway 15 south at Holmesville Road, Highway 15 south at Bobbie Cox Road, Highway 3121 in the Lockhart community, and Highway 143 at Albert Smith Road.
08:54Z 83 LA Union Farmerville Arpt Damaging straight line winds affected areas along and just south of Ruggs Bluff Road just southeast of Lake D'Arbonne, where a large portion of a metal roof was blown off of a metal barn and thrown across the roadway. Numerous trees were snapped and uprooted farther east along Ruggs Bluff Road, with the greatest concentration of damage occurring where three pine trees were uprooted and fell onto a home. Numerous other hardwood and softwood trees were snapped and uprooted in an easterly direction nearby, with the winds rated here estimated near 95 mph. The wind damage became more sporadic farther east-southeast along Ruggs Bluff Road, especially as it crossed Francis Creek.
09:02Z 74 LA Union Rocky Branch Damaging straight line winds affected much of the Rocky Branch community, with a swath of 80-85 mph winds sweeping across this area from a line of severe thunderstorms. Multiple trees were snapped or uprooted in an easterly direction, especially along Acree Road, east to Highway 143, along Wendy Lane, and Charles Dean Road. The most significant structural damage occurred when two large line trees were uprooted onto a home on Acree Road, another tree was uprooted onto a truck and mobile home also on Acree Road, and a large hardwood tree crushed a wooden barn along Wendy Lane.
09:08Z 74 LA Union Rocky Branch About 75-100 trees, mostly tall/skinny pines, were uprooted (with some snaps) in the D'Arbonne National Wildlife Refuge. All of these trees were lying in an east-northeasterly direction, indicative of straight line winds. Pictures were submitted by a forest ranger from the refuge.

11:20Z 55 MS Hinds Spring Ridge A line of severe thunderstorms caused some wind damage in the Byram area including a downed tree and power lines that blocked one lane of traffic on Springridge Road near Big Creek Road, a tree that fell onto power lines along Gary Road near Red Oak Cove, and a fence that was blown down at a home in Byram.

11:38Z 60 MS Lincoln Brookhaven Numerous trees were blown down in the Brookhaven area, including some which fell down onto power lines.
11:45Z 55 MS Simpson Pinola Two large oak trees were blown down on MS Highway 28 near Pinola.
