19:15Z 78 NY Greene Coxsackie A National Weather Service storm survey confirmed a microburst started in Coxsackie, and moved across the Hudson River into Stuyvesant. Damage was significant in the village of Coxsackie south and east of the Village Building on Mansion Street. Uprooted and snapped trees were widespread across the damage area. A few homes sustained damage to roofs, chimneys and siding. A state of emergency was declared for the village. The estimated path length was two miles and the estimated width was a half of a mile.

19:17Z 78 NY Columbia Newton Hook A National Weather Service storm survey confirmed a microburst started in Coxsackie, and moved across the Hudson River into Stuyvesant. In Stuyvesant, the most significant damage was observed along Route 9J between Sharptown Road and County Route 46, where 250 to 400 trees were downed, according to the local fire department. Route 9J, Sharptown Road, Ferry Road, Icehouse Road, and County Route 46 were all closed due to downed trees. Dozens of trees came down on the Amtrak rail parallel to Route 9J. One man was trapped between fallen trees and was rescued by firefighters. A few homes sustained damage to roofs, chimneys and siding. The total estimated path length in Greene and Columbia Counties was two miles and the estimated width was a half of a mile.
