17:17Z 65 MO Cass Garden City Winds of around 70 to 80 mph occurred in Garden City as a strong, decaying thunderstorm moved into that area. While the storm was severe, the winds in and around Garden City were somewhat unique to the event and the damage across the city indicated some enhanced winds, probably associated with a significant downburst. While the official estimate is around 70 to 80 mph winds, it's plausible that faster winds were experienced in that area with this event solely based on the damage.

Just east of Mansfield several buildings suffered roof damage. Significant roof damage occurred to the Mansfield High School. Near Mountain Grove a recreational vehicle was flipped and significantly damaged.

One home had several windows blown out and large portions of its roof torn back near the intersection of North Pine Street and West Dallas Street. Numerous other locations across the county also suffered wind damage to homes, outbuildings and trees. There were several reports of tornadoes, though these could not be confirmed.

19:15Z 77 MO Laclede Lebanon Jones Fld Ar This was the second of two severe storms to strike the Lebanon area this day. The Lebanon Airport AWOS KLBO measured an 89 MPH wind gust before going off line. Plains were flipped and hangers damaged. A church steeple was torn off. Multiple trucks were overturned on Interstate 44 between mile markers 125 and 127. Several road signs were damaged and a boat was reported in the median of the highway.
19:24Z 52 MO Howell Mountain View Arpt A line of severe storms moved east across the county. Numerous power outages occurred between Vanzant and Willow Springs. A sheriff deputy noted numerous trees down in the state forest near County Road 423 and AM Highway. Near Peace Valley a barn suffered significant damage. Reports of tornadoes were received over northern Howell County but these could not be confirmed.

21:24Z 83 MO Ripley Bennett A macroburst containing winds estimated up to 95 mph produced major damage across extreme northern Ripley County. The path in Ripley County was nearly 19 miles long and nearly five miles wide. Thousands of large trees were snapped or uprooted. Numerous power lines were blown down or downed by falling trees, causing the worst power outage in the area since the 2009 ice storm. Approximately 30 structures, mainly barns and garages, were damaged or destroyed. Several houses sustained mainly minor roof damage, with one having several windows blown out. Multiple trees were down on houses. Roads were blocked by fallen trees. A wind gust to 63 mph was measured north of Bennett, where large trees were uprooted.
21:51Z 61 MO Butler Harviell A wind gust estimated near 70 mph blew down several trees in the area. Affected roads included Highway F, Route 158, and County Road 488.
22:00Z 50 MO Butler Poplr Blff Flds Arpt The automated observing system at the Poplar Bluff airport measured a wind gust to 58 mph.
22:10Z 70 MO Butler Qulin A shop building was destroyed. The rather large metal building had a covered open storage area on the north side. Nearby grain bins were dented.
22:12Z 74 AR Clay Pollard A macroburst struck eastern Clay County with damaging winds. Numerous trees and power lines were knocked down from Pollard to Piggott continuing to the Missouri state line. A commercial building roof was damaged near Piggott. Several homes suffered roof damage.
22:15Z 87 MO Dunklin Campbell A macroburst struck portions of Dunklin County with widespread wind damage from Campbell to Clarkton. Numerous trees and power lines were knocked down. There was significant damage to a building in Campbell. A warehouse suffered major damage in Clarkton and a center pivot irrigation system was overturned. The Lynn Oak Church also suffered damage. A train was derailed along Highway 62 near the Arkansas state line, closing the highway.
22:23Z 96 MO New Madrid Gideon A very intense macroburst caused extensive damage across southwest New Madrid County, including the Gideon area. Peak winds were estimated near 110 mph, based on NWS storm surveys. About eight miles of the 19-mile long damage swath was in New Madrid County. Most of the remainder of the path was in Pemiscot County. The width of the macroburst averaged about six miles in New Madrid County. Several large grain bins were destroyed, with some blown a hundred yards or more from their anchored position. A couple of large storage buildings collapsed or partially collapsed. Several garages, farm sheds and similar structures were heavily damaged or destroyed. At least a half dozen homes or similar structures sustained major roof damage, ranging from the removal of the roof decking structure to removal of the entire roof structure. One had the attached garage separated. At least one home was destroyed by a fallen tree, with several others damaged from fallen trees. Several miles of power lines were blown down as poles were broken. Numerous large trees were uprooted. Much of the damage was in and south of Gideon. At least three homes and a business sustained major roof damage in Gideon, and a large farm building near Highway 162 lost portions of its roof and walls. The local emergency management agency estimated at least 5 million dollars damage, with 4 million of that at a farm south of Gideon.
22:30Z 74 MO Dunklin Kennett A macroburst spread from eastern Clay County into Dunklin County causing widespread damage, especially in the Kennett area. Numerous trees and power lines were knocked down. Several awnings, carports, and sheds were blown down.
22:34Z 87 MO Pemiscot Peach Orchard The macroburst that struck Dunklin and caused widespread damage in southern New Madrid County then spread into northern Pemiscot County causing widespread damage in Wardell. Trees fell on houses. Numerous power lines were knocked down. A mobile home was blown over and several buildings were damaged. Several homes suffered roof damage.
