20:55Z 45 GA Appling Baxley Muni Arpt A gustnado impacted Tomilson Street in Homerville where a shower and outflow boundary converged. The time of damage was based on radar. Homerville airport and the EMA office measured wind gusts of 20-25 mph when the outflow boundary moved through. Several residences along the street had tree damage, including one tree that fell down on an unoccupied home. The strength of winds was estimated. The cost of property damage was unknown but it was estimated for inclusion of the event in Storm Data.

These winds rolled over a single wide manufactured home, injuring 2 occupants. Numerous trees were downed or snapped and several power lines were downed as well.

The reflectivity gradient on these storms sharpened quickly, with a significant and persistent straight-line wind signature. A large swath of straight-line wind damage occurred across the southern portions of Pike County. The damage consisted mainly of snapped and uprooted trees, with the most significant damage along a stretch from Goshen to Brundidge. The damage swath continued into southern Barbour County.

Several trees were downed in the area, including one large tree on an apartment complex building on Stagecoach Road. Fence damage was also noted along with some minor roof damage to a few buildings.

Damage was noted to some homes with significant tree damage observed in the area.
