00:56Z 74 KY Lyon Kuttawa A microburst with estimated peak winds near 85 mph heavily damaged a marina on Lake Barkley. A dock was heavily damaged with the metal flooring beams bent, along with damage to many metal vertical supports and the metal roof. A relatively small portion of the roofing was blown off. One boat was blown off a lift, and the boat was partially submerged. The microburst was about one-quarter mile long and 200 yards wide.

07:35Z 65 TN Smith Lancaster Hill A 4 mile long swath of straight-line wind damage affected eastern Smith County in the Club Springs area from Stewarts Bend Lane eastward across I-40, Kirby Lane, Club Springs Road, and Opposum Valley Lane. Several trees were snapped or uprooted and a few outbuildings suffered roof damage. Winds were estimated up to 75 mph.
08:00Z 38 KY Wayne Monticello Dispatch reported a tree blown down just southwest of Monticello as a strong thunderstorm moved overhead.
08:42Z 55 TN Morgan Frankfort Trees were reported down and a home was damaged on Stanley Bates Road near the intersection of Genesis Road. More tree damage was reported along Genesis Road. The time of occurrence was estimated from radar.
