00:21Z 70 IN Bartholomew Garden City Storm survey found 10-15 homes sustained damage to siding, roofs, and gutters in the Shadow Creek Farms neighborhood just south of County Road 200 South and west of State Route 11. Multiple hardwood trees were snapped and dropped to the northeast. Tree and limb damage were isolated to the northeast of the neighborhood across another neighborhood and into the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds. Additional structural damage occurred to a barn across State Route 11. An irrigation device was flipped over in an adjacent field.

00:40Z 71 TX Motley Northfield A Texas Tech University West Texas mesonet site near Northfield measured a wind gust to 82 mph. Additionally, an NWS cooperative weather observer near Northfield reported several trees blown down.
00:44Z 87 IN Decatur Forest Hill Storm survey found damage to a few farms near County Road 700 South between County Roads 1000 West and 700 West. The most extensive damage to a property occurred near the intersection of County Roads 700 South and 800 West with complete destruction of a detached garage. Debris from the garage and other structures on the property were carried downstream to the east-northeast nearly a mile. All damage was knocked over to the east-northeast in the direction the storm moved and was classified as straight-line wind damage.

There was also a report of damage on nearby Shireman Dairy Farm and the Blauvent Farm. No specifics of what was damaged and to what degrees those structures were damaged.

01:00Z 76 TX Childress (cds)childress Arpt Substantial wind damage occurred in and around Childress due to severe thunderstorm winds. At 1901 CST, the Automated Surface Observing System at the Childress Municipal Airport recorded a wind gust to 81 mph. Ten minutes later at 1911 CST, a trained spotter reported a wind gust to 87 mph five miles north of Childress on US Highway 83/62. In the city of Childress, a tractor trailer was blown over in a parking lot. Considerable damage came from the partial destruction of the Veteran's Memorial Wall in Childress as a large tree was blown over on the structure.
