Part of the roof was blown off a mobile home and a small shed was pushed off its cinder block foundation by the wind.

18:11Z 70 KY Floyd Prestonsburg A National Weather Service Meteorologist surveyed localized downburst winds in Prestonsburg. These winds caused sporadic damage throughout the community. The highest wind gust estimated was in downtown Prestonsburg on West Court Street |where one half of the roof of a hock shop building was lifted off. This roof landed on West Court Street, including on multiple vehicles, fatally wounding one person in a moving vehicle. Glass was also broken on multiple windows on the north side of the building. There were a number of other buildings and homes with minor roof |or gutter damage nearby, as well as a couple of uprooted trees near the downtown area. A HAM radio tower that had been mounted on the top of the annex building beside the jail and behind the courthouse in downtown Prestonsburg was also destroyed by thunderstorm wind gusts. The winds snapped the support wires that had been holding up the tower causing the tower to break in half and fall onto the roof of the building it had been mounted on and the ground next to the building. Wind speeds that uprooted a tree at a residence on South Highland Avenue were estimated to be in the upper end of the 70 to 80 mph range.

A National Weather Service team surveyed the area of damage. The hardest hit areas were in the vicinity of Walnut Lane Trail between Hendricks Rd and Salford Station Rd in Lower Frederick Twp and along the Perkiomen trail between those same roads in Upper Salford Twp. Hundreds of trees were felled with numerous homes, outbuildings, and automobiles damaged. Accounts from the ground survey team, areal footage, and radar data confirmed that straight line winds were responsible for all of this damage, with estimated speeds as high as 110mph.

Damage was consistent with straight line winds up to 80mph.

21:53Z 78 MD Baltimore White Marsh The White Marsh area of eastern Baltimore County was impacted with a macroburst, which caused straight-line wind damage between 5:53 PM EDT (4:53 PM EST) and 6:00 PM EDT (5:00 PM EST). Two wooden telephone poles were snapped along Silver Spring Road, and numerous trees and branches were downed along Saxon Circle. All observed tree damage fell to the northeast. Additionally, the Baltimore County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management reported the easternmost wind damage in Middle River, near the intersection of Ebenezer and Bird River Roads. The western most damage reported was near the intersection of Yvonne Ave and Silver Spring Rd in Nottingham. There were approximately 18 instances of tree damage between these two locations, with the horizontal distance of about 4 miles. The snapping of the telephone poles and nature of the reported and observed tree damage produces an estimate of 90 MPH wind.

22:10Z 78 MD Harford Upper Xrds The Fallston and Baldwin area of west-central Harford County was impacted by a macroburst from 6:10 PM EDT (5:10 PM EST) until 6:15 PM EDT (5:15 PM EDT), which produced damaging wind gusts estimated at 90 MPH. A concentrated area of |damage was observed starting at Moores Road in Baldwin, extending discontinuously for approximately 3.25 miles to the east, ending at Pleasantville Road in Fallston. In this area, numerous observations of tree damage were observed. The tree damage |included mainly large limbs of hardwood trees and snaps of about a dozen pine trees. Several single family homes were impacted with limbs falling onto rooftops. All tree damage fell in an easterly direction. An image circulating among residents showed what |appears to be a roll cloud, representing the leading edge of the gusty winds.

22:35Z 87 TX Fannin Leonard A severe thunderstorm produced a long, narrow swath of straight line wind and tornado damage across southern Fannin County. This path of damage extended approximately 25 miles, from southeast of Trenton to south of Honey Grove. Most of the straight line wind damage took the form of snapped and uprooted trees, associated with wind speeds of 70-85 mph. Significant tree, residential and outbuilding damage occurred 1 to 2 miles northwest through northeast of the Bug Tussle Community in eastern Fannin County. This damage was likely associated with very strong downburst winds on the order of 85 to 95 mph. The most significant structural damage was observed along Highway 34, approximately 1.6 miles north of Bug Tussle, where a site-built frame residence had much of its roof blown off. Maximum straight line winds at this location were estimated to be 95-100 mph.
