00:05Z 52 ID Elmore Mountain Home Afb The weather observer at Mountain Home AFB reported wind gusts of 60 MPH associated with an outflow boundary from a collapsing thunderstorm in the vicinity. Blowing dust restricting visibility at times was also reported.
00:18Z 56 AZ Maricopa (gbn)gila Bend Muni Isolated thunderstorms developed across southwestern Maricopa county during the late afternoon and evening hours on June 28th. Some of the stronger storms produced strong and gusty outflow winds. The official ASOS weather station at Gila Bend measured a wind gust to 64 mph at 1718MST. The gusty winds also generated dense blowing dust, and the weather station reported visibility down to three quarters of a mile as a result. No damages were reported due to the strong wind gusts.

03:35Z 78 IL Shelby Stewardson A downburst impacted Stewardson. Numerous trees were blown down across town. Many of the trees fell onto and damaged houses, cars, and sheds. The roofs of a mobile home and an old garage were torn off. Several small metal sheds were destroyed and some houses had minor siding damage. The flag pole at the fire department was bent back.
