Golf ball sized hail also fell along this path. Across an area roughly one half mile long and and one third of a mile wide, winds estimated in the range of 70 to 95 mph downed many trees, including 6 that fell on homes. The greatest damage was concentrated in the Highlands Park neighborhood.

Many trees were uprooted and snapped, as well as damage to roofs and the exteriors of homes. A porch collapsed off one home, and mobile homes were damaged by falling trees, with one mobile home shifted off its foundation.

Most of the direct damage from the microburst was to several hardwood and softwood trees, although one roof was partially lifted up on a house as a result of the wind as well. Newspaper media reported that at least twenty trees were downed in the area and power lines were downed as well. Minor damage to homes, mainly due to falling trees, occurred at least six residences. An EF1 tornado also occurred nearby, but the majority of the damage was attributed to the microburst.

Minor tree damage occurred at a residence on the southeast corner of the intersection, with a small area of corn in an adjacent field being partially blown over. The back window of a vehicle was shattered, likely from flying rocks or debris with a resident suffering minor injuries as a glass table broke with pieces of the table causing some small cuts. There were numerous eyewitness reports (and photographs) of funnel clouds in the area as a result of conditions favorable for the development of landspouts. However, all damage was thrown in a northeast or east direction, consistent with a lack of a circulation on the ground.

23:25Z 70 PA Lebanon Fontana A survey team confirmed a microburst in South Annville Township around 1925 EDT. The straight line wind damage was most concentrated just north of U.S. 322 from Mt. Pleasant Road to SR 934 (S. White Oak Street). The damage consisted of a portion of a metal roof off a farm house, minor structural damage to several farm/outbuildings, one utility pole down, crop damage to corn fields and numerous trees snapped off or knocked down. Based on the damage surveyed, the maximum thunderstorm winds were estimated at 80 mph. The maximum path width was approximately 50 yards with damage spread out (sporadically) along a 2 mile path.

Substantial damage to hardwood trees and power lines was observed, with numerous trees snapped and uprooted, and large power lines taken down.
