14:45Z 60 NE Douglas Millard A bowing thunderstorm complex brought fairly widespread tree damage to a large part of Omaha. Many trees were split or uprooted which caused damage to vehicles and homes and brought power outages to a little over 50,000 OPPD customers. Damage reports started coming in across west Omaha near 144th or 156th Streets from near Center north to around Blondo with the damage become more widespread from central into north Omaha. Several reports of winds around or higher than 60 mph came in across the city, and the Asos at Omaha Eppley Airfield measured a wind gust of 69 mph at 1000 am CDT. The strong winds and damage continued into western Iowa.
15:02Z 52 IA Pottawattamie Council Bluffs A bowing thunderstorm complex that brought fairly widespread tree damage to a large part of Omaha moved into the Council Bluffs area and then eventually through much of Pottawattamie and southern Shelby counties. Many trees were split or uprooted in Council Bluffs which caused damage to vehicles and homes and brought scattered power outages to town. A wind gust of 60 mph was measured by thw Awos at the Council Bluffs airport at 1010 am CDT.

15:40Z 65 IA Shelby Harlan The bowing thunderstorm segment that began in Omaha raced through the Harlan area bringing a measured wind gust of 75 mph at the Harlan Awos. Tree and building damage was noted in town.

The damage occurred near the intersection of Kirks Mill Road and Nottingham Road, which becomes West Christine Road entering Chester County. The road was closed about 100 yards into Chester County due to the downed trees.

21:19Z 52 PA Northampton Nazareth A severe thunderstorm knocked down trees, poles and wires across a couple of roads in Nazareth. Trees were reported knocked down on Graceland Avenue and a downed tree damaged a vehicle (no injuries were reported) on Myers Street.

21:21Z 54 IL Bureau New Bedford The emergency manager reported a tree split in half.
21:26Z 50 NC Lincoln Lincolnton A tree was blown down near Startown Rd and North Hill Dr about two miles north of town. Powers were also blown down in Lincolnton around the same time.

21:29Z 87 IL Lee Harmon Winds were estimated in excess of 80 mph and upwards of 100 mph for a 13 mile swath. A large outbuilding bolted to its foundation was destroyed. One part of the barn wall was lifted taking a portion of the foundation with it. Numerous large trees were snapped or uprooted, including one that fell onto the front portion of a house. In Walton, four large grain storage bins were destroyed. Also in Walton, a metal outbuilding was destroyed with debris thrown over 200 yards. Shingle damage was also noted on a few homes.

In Springfield Township, trees and wires were knocked down on Old Bethlehem, Hickory, Slifer Valley and Blue Church Roads. In Durham Township, trees and wires were knocked down along Gallows Hill and Lehnenberg Roads. In Haycock Township, a sailboat was overturned on Lake Nockamixon, but no injuries were reported.

22:08Z 87 NY Rensselaer Rensselaer A National Weather Service storm survey team investigated thunderstorm wind damage in the City of Rensselaer. The team determined that straight line winds (microburst) impacted the area. Based on the damage assessment, mainly trees, the team estimated the maximum wind speeds at 90 to 100 MPH. Several trees fell on homes, causing minor structural damage. One of trees fell on a porch resulting in minor injuries to a man.

22:40Z 65 IL Will Plainfield Clow Arpt A large exit sign was blown over near I-355 and I-55. Several trees were blown down including approximately 6 trees that were around a foot in diameter. Shingles were peeled off the roofs of houses. A sun room collapsed in one house. A fence was blown down about a mile west of the intersection of Weber Road and Boughton Road. A two foot tree was blown down near Pinecrest Road and Briarcliff Road.
