03:00Z 100 AR Phillips Marvell Thunderstorm winds caused significant damage to some metal buildings, a house, and some very large trees. The hardwood trees were approximately 3 feet wide. One metal building had a portion of the roof peeled up as well as 2 garage doors blown in. The grain bins behind the metal building sustained dents near the top due to the winds. The house was damaged by one of the large trees falling on top of it. Two mobile homes were damaged as well with their roofs blown off. Additional smaller trees were snapped in the vicinity.

03:12Z 52 IL Jackson Murphysboro A 60 mph wind gust was reported on the west side of the city.
03:32Z 56 MO Mississippi Charleston Damage was reported at the agricultural warehouse of a growers' association. The farm store and seed warehouse were totally destroyed. Both structures were large wood and metal storage sheds that were not of sturdy construction. The oil warehouse was damaged, but there were no leaks or ruptures.
03:35Z 52 AR Bradley Warren Thunderstorm wind damage occurred several places in Warren. An awning was blown off a store, trees and power lines were blown down, part of a metal roof was blown off a house, and a canoe was blown off a storage rack at a business.
03:45Z 87 AR Phillips Helena - West Helena Several mobile homes were destroyed on the west side of West Helena. One mobile home was flipped on the southwest side of a neighborhood on the outskirts of town. The bottom frame of the home struck a tree behind the home 15 feet in the air. The mobile home landed on its roof and was completely destroyed. Cars were damaged by flying debris and trees were also blown down. Another neighborhood southwest of town was damaged as well. In this neighborhood, two mobile homes were flipped. One was blown into another mobile home and a wood house. Power lines and irrigation systems were blown down in the fields between the two neighborhoods. In West Helena, only minor damage was noted to the Junior High School roof and the roof and siding of a few motels. A few storage sheds were blown over but had not been secured to the ground.

03:55Z 61 MS Coahoma Clarksdale A trailer home was moved off its slab foundation on Bellvue Road near Clarksdale. A tractor trailer was overturned in the same area.
04:00Z 65 MS Coahoma Clarksdale Three empty grain bins were damaged along New Africa Road. The walkway on top of the grain bins was blown down. One grain bin was moved back a foot or two off of its foundation. Each grain bin had dents near the top on the southwest side where the strongest winds hit. Power lines were also blown down in the same area.

04:15Z 56 KY Mccracken Avondale Hgts A gas station canopy was damaged. A large metal pole supporting a business sign was snapped. The businesses were located on U.S. Highway 62 just west of Interstate 24.

04:18Z 91 TN Shelby Whitehaven The Welcome To Tennessee sign was blown down on Interstate 55 just north of the Tennessee/Mississippi border. A large roof was blown off of a building and dropped it about 200 feet away.

A large hay barn was heavily damaged. A side wall of the barn was completely blown off. Several trees were blown down, and a couple trees were snapped off.

05:45Z 65 IN Daviess Graham A house and turkey barns were destroyed in this location due to damaging thunderstorm wind gusts. Only one wall of the house was left standing.
05:47Z 74 KY Mclean Guffie Two mobile homes were destroyed, and many trees were blown over. One of the mobile homes was abandoned, and the residents of the other mobile home were not at home. One of the mobile homes was left in the middle of a road about four miles north of Calhoun. Six power poles were blown over on Kentucky Highway 81 about six miles northeast of Calhoun. Kentucky Highway 140 was closed due to power lines and power poles across the road. A barn was destroyed less than a mile from the Daviess County line. The damage swath extended from just north of Calhoun northeast to the Daviess County line.

05:55Z 55 TN Tipton Mason Some power lines were blown down on U.S. Highway 70 in Mason.
05:56Z 74 KY Daviess Panther A large section of roof was blown off a house. The roof was a flat roof with no anchors and a rather large overhang. Debris fell on one occupant of the house, who was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries such as scrapes and bruises. The house was damaged extensively. Nearby, three barns and a large tool shed were damaged or destroyed. Two of the barns were old wooden barns that were pushed and leaning over, but still on their foundations. The third barn was an old wooden barn that was destroyed. The tool shed was a steel-frame structure that was heavily damaged on one end. Beams were bent, and siding was torn off. Several small trees were uprooted along Highway 81, and one tree was snapped. Emergency responders could not reach the damaged house and injured person until debris was cleared from the road. All debris was blown toward the east-northeast. The damage swath was one-half to three-quarters of a mile wide.

A mobile home and a brick home then received minor roof damage near Marion with several trees and a few power lines downed on Sam Lackey Road. The Lauderdale County Emergency Manager spotted a funnel cloud with this storm but a tornado never touched down.

Amateur radio reported that power outages occurred in southern portions of the county near the Pleasant Grove Community as the result of trees falling on power lines and or downed power lines.
