16:22Z 52 DE New Castle Hockessin A severe thunderstorm knocked down numerous trees in the Hockessin, Coffee Run, Westminster, Canterbury Hills and Bella Vista areas of Mill Creek Hundred. A couple of homes and vehicles were damaged by the fallen trees. In the Westmister Development, old, massive trees were knocked down. Three homes on Ambleside Drive were so badly damaged by fallen trees that they were condemned. One garage with three Cadillacs within it was crushed on the same street. In Canterbury Hills, about fifty trees alone were knocked down and caused minor damage to homes.

16:40Z 52 DE New Castle Chalfonte A severe thunderstorm knocked down several trees north of Wilmington in Brandywine Hundred. A downed tree so badly damaged a home on Garfield Avenue in the Claymont area that it was condemned.

Five or six telephone poles were knocked down on Lancaster Avenue and one tree fell onto the northbound lanes of Interstate 95.

21:30Z 55 IN De Kalb Auburn Law enforcement officials reported multiple trees down along 7th Street. One of these trees in the 400 block of 7th Street, fell onto a westbound United Parcel Service truck, striking the driver compartment. The 46 year old male driver was killed instantly.

Single wide mobile home with a tree through the middle of it. Fire department responded to assist with getting people out but no injuries. Trees were also down off North St. Matthews Road near Hwy 601.

Also, there was damage to a brick building and several trees were blown down on the south side of Pampa Texas. The south half of the city of Pampa lost power due to downed power lines. There were no reports of injuries or fatalities.

01:05Z 80 OK Beaver Floris The Beaver County Emergency Managers Office reported that two outbuildings were destroyed, irrigation equipment was overturned, and several trees were knocked down by the thunderstorm wind gusts. There were no reports of injuries or fatalities.
01:15Z 109 OK Beaver Forgan The Beaver County Emergency Managers Office reported that a total of five hog farms were damaged by the strong thunderstorm wind gusts. Two of the hog farms were significantly damaged with the roofs blown off along with damage to the sides of the buildings. Another hog farm was missing part of the roof while the other two hog farms had lesser damage to their roofs. All five of the hog farms are still standing but there was a lot of debris laying around. There was also a report that numerous trees were blown over by the strong thunderstorm wind gusts. The debris from the hog farms and the tree damage were located on Oklahoma State Highway 23 on the west and east sides of the highway. There were no reports of injuries or fatalities.

01:50Z 65 KS Barton Beaver Winds estimated around 70 to 80 mph produced extensive damage to a church in Dubuque in northern Barton county. An outbuilding was damaged, along with the church steeple. Additionally, several windows were broken out of the sacristy, and a wall of a quonset hut was blown away. Just east of Dubuque, the storm produced damage to some homes in the form of broken windows, damaged siding and shredded roofs. Consequently, hail likely occurred at times with the wind, but exact hail size remains unknown. However, reports further northwest in Russell county suggest hail could have been up to golfball size. Some area crops were also heavily damaged, but damage estimates are unknown. Property damage amounts are rough estimates. The Great Bend Tribune was the sole contributor to this report.

02:15Z 50 TX Hall Memphis A Texas Tech University West Texas mesonet site near Memphis recorded a wind gust to 58 mph. Also, Memphis police reported some trees were blown down in the town.

02:20Z 65 KS Rice Lyons An intense supercell thunderstorm spread a swath of severe weather in the form of large hail and damaging winds from northwest to southeast across Rice county. The most widespread and extensive damage occurred along and either side of a line extending from Buxton through Lyons, and on into rural southeast Rice county. Hail damage to crops such as beans and milo was a total loss in some instances. However, the size of hail and crop damage amounts are unknown. Several trees and tree limbs were downed, along with power lines and power poles. Additionally, multiple sheds and irrigation systems were damaged from the high winds. Some roofs were damaged as well from the hail and wind combination, including the total loss of a convenience store in Lyons. Property damage amounts are rough estimates, and crop damage amounts are unfortunately unknown.

Winds estimated up to 90 mph tore a portion of a roof from a residence, and also blew out several windows at that same residence. Thereafter, heavy rainfall rushed through the broken windows and section of missing roof, damaging some of the interior. At a neighbors house, a shed in the backyard was destroyed.
