22:00Z 70 TX Van Zandt Roddy Nearly 100 homes and several outbuildings were damaged across mainly the southern half of Van Zandt County from two strong supercells. These homes were damaged by either a tornado in the same region, damaging downburst winds, and/or RFD winds. It cannot be determined how many of the homes were damaged by the tornado and how many by the RFD or downburst winds. In addition, numerous trees were also knocked down and several were blocking roadways. Power lines were also down as well.

23:10Z 74 AR Crittenden Crawfordsville Straight line winds produced widespread damage across much of Crittenden County including the Crawfordsville, Marion and West Memphis areas. Trees and power lines were knocked down in Crawfordsville and Marion. Two tractor trailers were overturned on Interstate 40 in Marion from the winds. Portions of the roof of a hospital in West Memphis was torn off. Several businesses and homes were also damaged in West Memphis including a car dealership that had the front of the main building destroyed.

05:56Z 96 LA Natchitoches Bermuda Evidence of a significant downburst occurred near Natchez in the community of Bermuda and Point Place. The width of the downburst is approximately 2 miles across from near Point Place to Bermuda with dozens of homes damaged and numerous trees snapped and uprooted. The worst of the damage was concentrated along Riverview Drive where moderate roof damage occurred to several homes���including large trees into homes. Many homes sustained shingle damage however a few had portions of the their roofs peeled. The winds from this downburst continued east and affected the community of Montgomery in Grant Parish knocking over trees and damaging a few homes.

06:03Z 87 LA Grant Hargis National Weather Service storm survey team determined that the damage in Grant Parish during the early morning hours of April 27th was the result of a downburst. This was the same downburst which hit the communities of Natchez, Bermuda and Point Place in southern Natchitoches Parish. Numerous trees were downed around the Montgomery area with a barn completely destroyed and a few homes suffering minor wind damage.

Numerous trees were knocked down. Several units of an apartment complex and several nearby homes sustained roof damage. A metal-sided building had one half of its roof and siding structure lifted and peeled off, leaving just the supporting steel beams standing. Numerous other buildings received varying degrees of damage, both directly from the strong winds and as a result of falling trees.

There was a diffuse and intermittent, yet discernible, swath of wind damage that extended from just west of the St. Clair County Courthouse, northeastward across Pell City, Industrial Park Drive, Interstate 20, and through Riverside. Additional isolated wind damage was noted to the south and east of this main damage swath. The most significant damage across the area were several large trees that were uprooted, causing damage to homes and structures. One fatality was caused when a large oak tree was uprooted and fell on a manufactured home. Two metal buildings received direct damage from the winds; the damage on both of these buildings appears to have been associated with the failure of large doors. Dozens of homes in the area received minor roof damage as well.
