As many as 20,000 customers were temporarily without power. All told, there were at least 40 utility poles downed in southwest Mesa, which damaged 20 to 30 homes. |

| 01:40Z | 50 | AZ | Pima | Tucson | Isolated storms formed south of the Tucson Metro area around 6:15 and quickly merged, formed a bowing segment, and raced north through the Tucson area. As the storm moved through Tucson, a tree limb was downed at the intersection of Speedway and Wilmot. A sign was also blown off of a shopping center facade near the intersection of Silverbell and Wade Road. In addition, 70 knot winds were recorded on top of a three story building downtown. |
