17:05Z 74 ND Bowman Scranton Significant damage was done on a farm. Empty grain bins were torn from their foundations and rolled up fence wire was rolled through pastures. Many trees were uprooted and fence posts were broken off at ground level. Quarter size hail also fell and crops were damaged. There was concern that the damage was tornadic. However, after speaking with eye witnesses and obtaining damage descriptions and viewing photos it was determined that it was not tornado damage.

East Thompson Street and Euclid Avenue were particularly hard-hit with numerous trees, branches, and power lines down. A riding lawn mower was overturned, and the local newspaper reported that a boat was lodged in a tree.
21:52Z 61 PA Susquehanna Ararat A microburst on the forward flank of the strengthening severe thunderstorm produced winds estimated at 60 to 70 mph. Trees were uprooted and snapped. A concentrated area of tree damage occurred from about one mile east of Fiddler Lake to about two miles north of Herrick Center. Trees were all facing to the southeast. One tree fell on a trailer damaging its roof and others had to be cleared from the road.

22:40Z 78 PA Wayne Hawley Radar indicated the development of a very strong downburst on the rear flank of the tornadic supercell. The damage was a very large area and more profound in its scope of damage than the tornado paths in Pike County. The peak winds were estimated at 70 to 90 mph where large swaths of trees were uprooted and snapped. Large trees fell on roads, power and phone lines, took down poles, and damaged some homes. One truck was smashed in half and a home was demolished by large trees. A significant amount of trees came down along the Lackawaxen River. Most of the trees were fallen to the southeast, except along the Lackawaxen where the river valley deflected the winds and trees fell to the east. Hundreds of people were impacted by the storm as power was out for a couple days in some locations and roads were closed until trees and fallen power lines could be cleared.

At a nearby restaurant, picnic tables were lifted, windows busted and trees blown down. Signs for area businesses were also destroyed. A wholesale greenhouse had most of the glass panels on the roof of one building destroyed where the winds may have been locally higher. Another business close to the greenhouse also had the roof destroyed.
07:40Z 52 WI Buffalo Mondovi The COOP observer reported lots of trees and power lines down. Newspaper articles indicated that some of the fallen trees landed on houses creating roof damage and on a pickup truck smashing the roof and windshield.
08:14Z 60 WI La Crosse Calvert Amateur radio operators reported some trees blown down and others snapped off. Trees and signs were also blown down on the south side of La Crosse in the Shelby Mall area.
08:18Z 52 WI La Crosse Barre Mills A NWS employee reported a couple of trees and several large branches blown down.
