The damage varied in width from about 1 mile wide at the start of the damage swath and narrowed to about 200 yards. 70 to 100 trees were blown down. Several barns and out-buildings sustained roof damage and four homes were damaged by falling trees. The homes also sustained siding and shingle damage. The most significant and concentrated tree damage occurred along an just east of Pine Hollow Road. Based on the damage to the trees and structures, the National Weather Service confirmed a macroburst with estimated maximum winds between 80 and 90 mph. |
