Hail initially was around ping pong ball size but grew larger as the storm went through Canyon, producing hail up two and a half inches in diameter in Canyon. With measured winds around 70-80mph, much of this hail was wind-driven and produced significant damage to roofs, siding and broke many windows. While the total number of windows broken is unknown, it is at least 35. |
