One farmer reported 800 to 900 acres of corn were destroyed northeast, east, and southeast of Cambridge. Corn was stripped, leaving just the stalks. Wheat that was not flattened was also damaged. Some of the larger stones near Cambridge were the size of quarters. Furnas County Emergency Management noted that significant crop damage occurred in a swath all the way from south of Cambridge to south of Arapahoe. |
