A few stones even reached tennis ball-size a few miles east of Bennington. The storm first produced severe size hail near Gretna in Sarpy county. The hail caused vehicle and house damage across western Omaha including broken windows, siding and roof damage. Much of the damage in Douglas county was east of 180th Street and west of 114th Street and stretched from Harrison Street northeast through Fort Street to east of Bennington.
