18:25Z 1.00 GA Whitfield Rocky Face Several reports of quarter-sized hail were received from the public across the central part of the county from Rocky Face to Dawnville. An amateur radio operator reported a heavy accumulation of hail along U.S. Highway 76 on the north side of Dalton.
18:50Z 1.75 GA Murray Chatsworth The public observed golf ball-sized hail near Eton and quarter-sized hail west of Chatsworth. Radar data suggests that at least quarter-sized hail continued east to northeast of Eton to near Conasauga Lake on the eastern border of the county.
19:32Z 1.00 GA Fannin Blue Ridge A storm spotter observed quarter-sized hail near Epworth. Radar data suggests that hail of similar size likely continued northeast to near the Tennessee border and the city of McCaysville.

22:31Z 1.75 SC Pickens Latham Golf ball size hail was reported by a spotter near the Greenville/Pickens Speedway.
22:33Z 1.75 SC Greenville Croswell A line of severe thunderstorms produced a swath of large hail between the towns of Welcome and Travelers Rest in the western part of the county, eastward to the Spartanburg County line around Greer. Numerous reports of hail to the size of golf balls were received. The area of large hail was about 10 miles wide in the western part of the county and narrowed down to about 5 miles in the east. No dollar estimates were available, but there was considerable damage to cars and roofs.

23:00Z 1.75 GA Putnam Eatonton The Putnam County 911 Center reported golf ball-sized hail approximately six miles southeast of Eatonton. The public observed quarter-sized hail on the Putnam county sided of Reynolds Plantation on Lake Oconee.

23:04Z 0.88 GA Henry Hampton The Henry County Emergency Management Director relayed a report of penny to nickel-sized hail in the extreme southwest part of the county just north of Hampton.
23:10Z 1.00 SC Spartanburg Fairmont Hail slightly larger than quarter size was reported near the intersection of highways 296 and 290.
23:14Z 1.00 NC Davidson Welcome Quarter-size hail reported near Highway 52.
23:15Z 1.00 SC Spartanburg Roebuck Hail was reported a little to the north of the town of Moore.

23:20Z 0.75 GA Pike Molena An amateur radio operator observed penny-sized hail in the far southwest corner of the county near the Upson county line, south of Molena.
23:28Z 1.00 GA Greene Siloam The public observed quarter-sized hail in the Siloam area.
23:32Z 1.25 SC Greenville Simpsonville There were a couple reports of half dollar size hail from the south side of Simpsonville.
23:33Z 1.75 SC Cherokee Thicketty A number of spotters and county officials reported quarter to golf ball size hail in areas from just east of Cowpens to downtown Gaffney to the Edgewater and highway 18 intersection to mile marker 96 on I-85.
23:35Z 0.88 GA Lamar Aldora The public observed a considerable amount of penny to nickel-sized hail in the Barnesville area. The ground was covered in some locations.
23:40Z 0.88 GA Upson Thomaston The Upson County Emergency Management Director reported that dime to nickel-sized hail covered the ground at many locations across the county from southwest of Thomaston to The Rock. The most significant reports of hail were received from the northeast part of the county between Thomaston and The Rock.
23:41Z 1.75 GA Taliaferro Lyneville The public observed golf ball-sized hail in the far northern part of the county between Lyneville and Carters Grove.
23:44Z 1.75 GA Wilkes Tyrone The Wilkes County Emergency Management Director relayed reports of golf ball-sized hail from the Rayle area. Radar data suggests that quarter to golf ball-sized hail likely fell from just west-northwest of Tyrone along the Taliaferro county line, where golf ball-sized hail was also observed, to the northeast corner of the county, just north of Delhi.

01:50Z 1.00 NC Mecklenburg Pineville Quarter size hail was reported at the intersection of I-77 and I-485.
02:06Z 0.75 GA Jones Round Oak The public observed penny-sized hail in the Gray area. Radar data suggests that similar size hail likely fell from two separate storms, one that tracked across the far northern part of the county near Round Oak and another that tracked across the central part of the county later, just north of Gray.
