20:06Z EF0 KDMX IA Davis Drakesville This was a narrow and intermittent landspout that caused no damage. Start and end point locations/times based on law enforcement report and multiple public photos.
21:06Z EF4 KTLX OK Garvin Hennepin A tornado developed 1.25 miles south of the community of Katie, OK, or about 3.4 miles north of Hennepin. The tornado was observed to be very dynamic as it moved east-northeast and east. Initially damage was confined to trees until the tornado crossed county road 1690 where a home was destroyed where only interior walls remained standing. To the east of this house, two mobile homes were damaged on the southern periphery of the tornado path. The tornado moved east-northeast damaging another mobile home, then east removing the roof from a home on Indian Meridian Road.||The tornado varied in movement between northeast and southeast as it approached and crossed county road 1680. A home was destroyed near county road 1680 and Indian Meridian Road where an EF4 rating was applied (DI 2, DOD 9). Further east, a fatality occurred when the tornado destroyed a modular home. After destroying another home, the tornado moved northeast and dissipated near Interstate 35.
21:25Z EF1 KOAX NE Lancaster Cheneys This tornado produced mainly tree and shingle damage. One home did sustain some garage damage. The tornado touched down and traveled to the west remaining just south of Highway 2. The tornado was filmed by many residents and storm chasers.
21:30Z EF0 KUEX NE Buffalo Odessa A brief landspout tornado touched down near Odessa. No damage was reported.
21:34Z EF3 KTLX OK Murray Joy After the Katie tornado dissipated, the storm produced another tornado that developed just west of US-77 between Wynnewood and Davis. Some tree damage was noted between the Washita River and US-77. The tornado moved about three miles through open land before damaging or destroying numerous houses and other structures along and near Palmer Road and Buel Green Road to the northwest and north of Sulphur. Through this time, the tornado grew to nearly one mile in width. Numerous houses from Meadow road to just east of US-177 received EF3 damage. Near Meadow Road and Burnside Road, cars parked near a destroyed barn were displaced about 280 yards to the east. Preliminary analysis of winds from the Doppler on Wheels mobile research radar provided by the Center for Severe Weather Research indicated approximately 218 mph (+/-) at 17 meters AGL near US-177 N of Buel Green Road, however there were no structures in the immediate vicinity of this wind maximum to give a corresponding damage rating.||The tornado moved east-northeast after crossing US-177 with the path width gradually diminishing. The tornado moved along the Murray-Pontotoc County line affecting both counties for the last three miles before dissipating about 2 miles south-southwest of Roff. The center line of the tornado did move into Pontotoc County approximately three miles southwest of Roff.
21:53Z EF1 KOAX NE Lancaster Cheneys This tornado started just south of Satillo Road between 96th and 110th streets. The tornado destroyed a barn at this location. The tornado generally traveled to the southwest slowly producing minor tree damage before dissipating.
22:06Z EF0 KUEX NE Clay Fairfield This tornado touched down approximately 2 miles east of Fairfield, traveling east-northeast before lifting approximately 5 miles east of Fairfield. Damage along this path included at least one irrigation pivot as well as minor damage to the front walkway overhang at the school. Windows were blown out of numerous vehicles in the school parking lot, and a concession area under construction suffered minor damage. The tornado crossed Highway 14, damaging fencing and trees before lifting a couple miles east of the highway. The maximum wind speed was estimated to be 85 MPH.
22:13Z EF2 KTLX OK Pontotoc Roff The tornado that passed north of Sulphur in Murray County moved along the Murray-Pontotoc County line for three miles affecting both counties before dissipating approximately 2 miles south-southwest of Roff. The center of the tornadic circulation moved east-northeast into Pontotoc County approximately 3 miles southwest of Roff.
22:15Z EF0 KDVN IL Mcdonough Bushnell The tornado width was 25 to 50 yards, and on the ground for about 2 minutes with no damage.
22:16Z EFU KTLX OK Cleveland Lake Thunderbird Dam A low-precipitation supercell produced a brief tornado/waterspout that was observed over Lake Thunderbird. The tornado remained over the lake and produced no damage.
22:18Z EF3 KTLX OK Johnston Connerville The tornado formed near US-377/OK-99 in northern Johnston County about 4 miles south of Connerville. The tornado damage trees and power poles, and caused roof damage to a home as it crossed Tower Road. Passing Deadman Spring Road, the tornado destroyed a modular home where the fatality occurred. A truck parked at this house was carried 250 yards to the east. The tornado continued moving east-northeast with more tree damage, and light damage to a couple of houses at the edge of the tornado path. Fortunately as the tornado had weakened as it approached the town of Bromide with only light tree damage observed there. ||From about 1.25 miles west of Bromide to where it dissipated just east of Bromide, the tornado moved down the Johnston-Coal county line affecting both counties. The center line of the tornado moved into Coal County in Bromide.
22:18Z EF0 KDVN IA Louisa Wyman There was a brief tornado touchdown with no damage.
22:18Z EFU KTLX OK Johnston Mill Creek A mini-supercell that developed between the Katie-Sulphur storm and the Bromide-Atoka storm produced a tornado in northern Johnston County that was observed by spotters and chasers, including an NWS employee, and broadcast live on Oklahoma City television by a media helicopter. The tornado occurred in open grassland on a ranch and produced no damage. The specific path could be determined by the proximity to landmarks observed on the helicopter footage.
22:33Z EF0 KTLX OK Coal Bromide The centerline of the tornado crossed into Coal County from Johnston County within the town of Bromide. Although from about 1.25 miles west of Bromide to where it dissipated just east of Bromide, the tornado moved down the Johnston-Coal county line affecting both counties. Only light tree damage was observed in and near Bromide.

22:46Z EF1 KTLX OK Atoka Boggy Depot State Park A tornado develop approximately 12 miles west-northwest of Atoka, near Blue Ribbon Road and less than one mile south of the Coal County line. An outbuilding was destroyed along Blue Ribbon Road. Although the center of circulation remained on the Atoka County side of the county line until moving into Coal County one-third of a mile west of US-75, the north side of the tornado expanded into Coal County before reaching NS376 Road as the tornado continue to produce tree damage across both counties.
22:47Z EFU KTLX OK Atoka Boggy Depot State Park A storm chaser observed a brief tornado south of the larger Atoka/Coal County tornado. This tornado may have been anticyclonic. No damage is known to have occurred with this tornado.
22:49Z EF2 KOAX NE Cass Nehawka This tornado started just to the southwest of the city of Nehawka and generally traveled to the northwest through its lifespan. The tornado was filmed by numerous storm chasers and general public. The tornado remain generally in rural areas, but did impact a couple of farmsteads. The most significant damage occurred along Havelock Ave where a home was destroyed. The damage at this residence was consistent with EF2 damage. Another farmstead was impacted south of Knabe Dr where several outbuildings were completely destroyed. Otherwise trees were uprooted or damaged along the path.
22:58Z EF2 KTLX OK Noble Lake Mccurtry Dam This tornado developed on or just northeast of Lake McMurtry with tree damage first observed along NS-3275 Road just northeast of the lake. A mobile home was destroyed, two home received roof damage and significant tree damage occurred as the tornado approached the Payne County line. The tornado crossed into Payne County near Glencoe Road.
23:06Z EF2 KTLX OK Payne (swo)stillwater Airport This tornado moved into Payne County from Noble County near Glencoe road moving northeast and then north-northeast crossing back into Noble County between Country Club Road and Sangre Road. At least two houses and two outbuildings were damaged in Payne County in addition to tree and power pole damage.
23:07Z EF1 KTLX OK Coal Lehigh Although the center line of this tornado did not move into Coal County from Atoka County until one-third of a mile west of US-75, the north edge of the tornado had expanded into Coal County producing tree damage 7 miles farther west, to the west of NS-376 Road. As the tornado approached US-75, the tornado produced slight roof damage to a house on Mockingbird Lane just north of the county line. The tornado damaged a radio station building at US-75 as the center line crossed into Coal County and began moving northeast. The tornado continued moving northeast through a rural area of southeastern Coal County before turning back to the east and moving into Atoka County near EW-177 Road.
23:15Z EF2 KTLX OK Noble Sumner This tornado moved back into Noble County from Payne County between Country Club Road and Sangre Road and moved north-northeast for about a mile and half. Damage was confined to trees and power poles, but broken wood power poles still support an EF2 damage rating.
23:17Z EF1 KTLX OK Atoka Atoka The tornado moved back into Atoka County crossing Division Street near EW-177 Road after moving across southeastern Coal County. More tree damage was observed along Division Street and North Coal Creek Road before the tornado dissipated just east of North Coal Creek Road.
23:22Z EF2 KTLX OK Bryan Bennington A tornado developed southeast of Bennington, and quickly became very large as it moved east-northeast. Widespread destruction of trees was observed across eastern Bryan County. The tornado moved into Choctaw County southwest of Boswell. 23:27Z EF3 KTLX OK Choctaw Boswell Ammons Arpt This is the second segment of a two segment tornado that began at 624 pm CDT in Bryan County, Oklahoma. The tornado strengthened and widened rapidly after developing southeast of Bennington. It was about 2500 yards wide and was producing EF-2 damage to trees by the time it reached the Choctaw County border at around 627 pm CDT. ||In Choctaw County, the tornado continued to widen as it moved northeast, producing a damage path of about 1.8 miles across, to the southwest of Boswell. The tornado made a turn to the east at the N4000 Road and maintained an eastward movement until dissipating before reaching the N4090 Road. The tornado destroyed at least three mobile homes. Two injuries occurred in one of the mobile homes, one of which was a critical injury. Numerous homes were damaged by this tornado, with the worst damage including major loss of the roof structure and collapse of a few exterior walls. Numerous outbuildings were also destroyed. A metal, high-voltage transmission tower/truss was destroyed, and numerous power poles were snapped. Many trees were snapped or uprooted in the path. Trees in several areas were reduced to shortened trunks with short stumps where large limbs previously existed. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in this segment of the tornado was 140 to 150 mph.
23:40Z EF0 KTWX KS Clay Fact Storm chaser provided a picture of what appeared to be a funnel condensed to near ground level. Account provided said that the tornado circulation was on the ground for 1 to 2 minutes in an open field and did no damage.
00:02Z EF1 KSRX OK Choctaw Goodland This tornado developed west of Hugo and moved eastward across town. Numerous homes and businesses were damaged, storage buildings were destroyed, trees were uprooted, signs were blown down, and power poles were snapped. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in the tornado was 95 to 105 mph.
00:18Z EFU KSRX OK Choctaw Old Messer Several storm chasers and storm spotters observed this tornado, which remained over Lake Hugo for much of its life cycle. The NWS ground survey team investigated accessible areas of land on both the west and east sides of the lake, and could find no damage. Therefore, the specific details regarding this tornado had to be estimated, and a damage rating could not be determined.
00:25Z EFU KSRX OK Choctaw Virgil Storm chasers and storm spotters observed this tornado, which developed during the life cycle of the Hugo Lake tornado from the same supercell updraft. This tornado was observed to be to the south of the other tornado. The NWS damage survey team could find no damage in the area where this tornado was suspected to be, as it was either over Lake Hugo or in the marsh land on the east side of the lake. Both areas were inaccessible, and therefore, no damage was known to exist from which a damage rating could be determined.
00:46Z EF0 KDMX IA Guthrie North Branch Tornado photographed and taped by multiple storm chasers and the county Emergency Manager. Damage reported at one farm early in the track where roof paneling was removed from an outbuilding and augers were flipped and rolled to the west and north. Tornado track times matched to appendage on storm that followed the tornado path. Tornado movement was to the northwest.
01:18Z EF0 KDMX IA Guthrie Wichita The was a narrow and weak tornado that was photographed by multiple individuals and witnessed by the county EM. Tornado movement was to the northwest.
01:25Z EF0 KGGW MT Sheridan Homestead Public reported a tornado moving across Highway 16 in Sheridan County. Subsequent photos and video suggest it was a weak landspout amid convective showers in the area near a front. Landspout occurred in an open field and pulled up some dirt, lasting for about 3 minutes.
01:59Z EF1 KSHV TX Bowie Spring Hill An EF-1 tornado with estimated winds between 85-95 mph touched down along Farm to Market Road 2735 just east of Highway 259 before lifting along County Road 3313. Although the primary damage was snapped and uprooted trees, one home had minor siding loss and one outbuilding was damaged.
02:06Z EF1 KSHV TX Bowie Beaverdams An EF-1 tornado with estimated winds between 85-95 mph touched down along County Road 3303, snapping and uprooting several trees.
03:34Z EF1 KLZK AR Saline Tatumville NWS Storm Survey revealed an EF1 Tornado with a track length of 2.7 miles...and max width of 200 yards. Numerous trees were uprooted or snapped...with a few trees on homes. Several homes had roof damage. A manufactured home had windows broken.
