12:12Z EF1 KDGX MS Jones Service This tornado touched down west of Laurel and caused roof damage to a well built home and minor damage to several other well built homes. The roof of an outbuilding was blown off and a trampoline was thrown a considerable distance. A fence around a nearby pool was blown down and a car port was thrown some distance along with several trees and limbs down. Maximum winds were around 95 mph.
18:15Z EF0 KMHX NC Martin Williamston A weak tornado touched down near Garret Road about 2 miles southwest of Williamston. The tornado knocked down some power lines and did minor damage to the roof and siding of a home.
18:40Z EF0 KFDX TX Bailey Needmore The broadcast media relayed photographs of a non-mesocyclonic tornado which developed beneath a shallow convective cell between 12:40 CST and 12:44 CST on the 26th. Per post-event radar and surface analysis, the tornado occurred during the updraft phase of a small convective shower, apparently due to the vertical stretching of pre-existing low level vorticity. The low-level environment was characterized by very dry air with surface temperatures in the 70s (F) and dewpoints in the 10s (F). A pre-existing surface boundary was not identified, and winds were uniform from a westerly direction.
20:20Z EF1 KTYX NY Oneida Verona Mills A brief touchdown of an EF-1 tornado occurred in a wooded area near the intersection of State Road 49 and Lauther Road near Verona Mills. Damage included multiple trees down and a snapped power pole.
21:44Z EF0 KGRR MI Allegan Burnips The tornado touchdown at a landscaping company where it tore a small section of roof of a warehouse building, knocked over several trailers, and blew the windows out of several cars. The tornado then struck a row of 100 yard long turkey pole barns. An approximately 100 ft section of one barn was uplifted and the collapsed. The roof was torn off about a 50 ft section of another barn. Further northeast, several small outbuildings were destroyed and trees were uprooted. Several houses in the path received minor roof and soffit damage with two garage doors damaged. The tornado lifted after partially destroying a 75 year-old 40 ft by 90 ft barn.
21:56Z EF0 KFWS TX Kaufman Tolosa A NWS Storm Survey determined an EF-0 tornado began on the northwest bank of Cedar Creek Reservoir and tracked northeast over the Cedar Creek Country Club and across Highway 175. This tornado had a path length of approximately 5 miles and an estimated width of 500 yards. Mostly tree damage occurred with this tornado, especially on three holes of the golf course. Winds were estimated at 85 mph.
22:14Z EF1 KLZK AR Lonoke Coy A tornado destroyed grain bins, overturned irrigation pivots, and tore much of the roof off of a large farm shop. A tractor-trailer truck on U.S. Highway 165 was overturned. Power poles were broken and trees were blown down. One tree fell into a house.
22:45Z EF1 KFWS TX Van Zandt Ben Wheeler A NWS Storm Survey determined an EF-1 tornado began approximately 2 miles south of Ben Wheeler and tracked northeast across Van Zandt County before continuing into Smith County. This tornado had a path length of approximately 7.5 miles in Van Zandt County and was estimated to be a 1/2 mile wide. A mobile home south of Ben Wheeler was rolled onto its side, and several homes were damaged 4 miles northeast of Ben Wheeler. The Friendly Center Baptist Church also sustained major damage. Wind speeds were estimated to be 100 MPH. A lady in the rolled mobile home sustained minor injuries.
22:46Z EF0 KSRX OK Sequoyah Moffett A brief tornado developed over open country and was witnessed by several people. The tornado resulted in no known damage.
22:55Z EF0 KSRX AR Crawford Van Buren A tornado was photographed to the west from South 28th Street and Industrial Park Road. The tornado resulted in no damage as it dissipated before entering developed areas of Van Buren.
23:01Z EF0 KFWS TX Kaufman Mabank A NWS Storm Survey determined an EF-0 tornado began over Cedar Creek Reservoir and tracked east into Mabank. This tornado had a path length of approximately 5 miles and an estimated width of 400 yards. Buildings in Mabank sustained roof damage. Winds were estimated between 80 and 85 mph.
23:04Z EF0 KFWS TX Smith Carroll Multiple trees were snapped along a near 7 mile track in the Northwest sections of Smith County. A tornado moved into Smith County from Van Zandt County 1 mile south of Interstate 20. The tornado continued northeast crossing Interstate 20 about 2 miles east of the Van Zandt/Smith County line, then continued northeast ending 4 miles northwest of Lindale on FM 16. Winds are estimated at 75-85 mph.
23:05Z EF0 KMLB FL St. Lucie Port St Lucie A citizen in Port St. Lucie observed a funnel cloud which briefly touched down as a landspout tornado in a rural agricultural area west of the city. Several other reports were received of a funnel cloud, including two pilot reports. No damage occurred. Photos and video were obtained of the event.
23:10Z EF0 KNQA AR Phillips Morning Star A weak tornado touched down one mile north of Elaine on Highway 44 and traveled east-northeast. Trees and power lines were knocked down. A few road signs were also blown over. The tornado continued east-northeast and crossed into Coahoma County, Mississippi.
23:17Z EF0 KNQA MS Coahoma Humber A weak tornado moved east-northeast out of Phillips County, Arkansas into Coahoma County. Several trees and power lines were knocked down. The tornado continued to move east-northeast and moved back into Phillips County, Arkansas.
23:22Z EF0 KNQA AR Phillips Westover A weak tornado moved east-northeast from Coahoma County, Mississippi back into Phillips County. Several trees were knocked down. The tornado continued to move east-northeast and crossed back into Coahoma County, Mississippi.
23:23Z EF0 KNQA MS Coahoma Friars Pt A weak tornado moved east-northeast out of Phillips County, Arkansas into the Friars Point area. Several homes sustained roof damage and one home was moved off of the block foundation. A commercial metal storage building had a large section of roof peeled off. The tornado continued east-northeast near Coahoma and Lula. A church a few miles south of Lula sustained roof damage. At least two homes in Coahoma sustained damage. Trees and power lines were knocked down all along the path. A few telephone poles were knocked down as well as a few road signs. The tornado continued east-northeast into Tunica County, Mississippi.
23:23Z EF0 KFWS TX Kaufman Mabank A NWS Storm Survey determined an EF-0 tornado began approximately 2 miles northeast of Purtis Creek State Park. This tornado had a path length of approximately 1 mile and an estimated width of 100 yards. Mainly tree damage occurred with this tornado and winds were estimated near 80 mph.
23:29Z EF0 KLZK AR Phillips Ferguson A weak tornado touched down near Ferguson on Highway 44 and traveled northeast toward the Mississippi River. Some trees were knocked down. The tornado continued northeast crossing into Coahoma County, Mississippi.
23:32Z EF1 KLZK AR Faulkner Naylor Trees were blown down and the roof of one house was damaged. This tornado tracked across much of the same area that the Vilonia tornado had crossed the previous day. The tornado exited Faulkner County 2 miles south of Mount Vernon and moved into White County 3.99 miles west-northwest of Hammonsville.
23:35Z EF0 KLZK MS Coahoma Hillhouse A weak tornado traveled northeast out of Phillips County, Arkansas into Coahoma County. The tornado continued northeast toward the city of Coahoma where it eventually lifted. A church sustained roof damage, 3 miles southwest of Coahoma. Numerous trees were either uprooted or snapped. Scattered telephone poles were knocked down. A few road or advertisement signs were damaged as well. A few pivot irrigation systems were also toppled over.
23:35Z EF1 KSHV TX Rusk Stewart A few trees were snapped at their base and had large limbs broken off with the initial touchdown along FM 2138. The tornado continued northeast causing various tree damage along and intersecting path across FM 2142 and FM 1716. It continued along a northeast path where it destroyed a storage outbuilding and uprooted several trees at FM 2187 and Hwy. 149. The tornado continued northeast where it uprooted several trees and ripped off the tops of several more along FM 2216 and FM 2221. The tornado then briefly crossed into Panola County. Maximum winds were estimated at 86-95 mph.
23:36Z EF1 KLZK AR White Hammonsville This tornado exited Faulkner County 2 miles south of Mount Vernon and entered White County 3.99 miles west-northwest of Hammonsville. In White County, only some tree damage was noted. This tornado tracked across much of the same area that the Vilonia tornado had crossed the previous day.
23:42Z EF0 KNQA MS Tunica Hamlin A weak tornado traveled east-northeast out of Coahoma County, Mississippi into Southern Tunica County. Several trees and power lines were knocked down. An irrigation pivot was turned over as well. The tornado lifted near 6 Mile Lake Road.
23:48Z EF1 KSHV TX Panola Tatum This tornado was a continuation of the tornado which moved through northeastern Rusk County and then moved into extreme northwest Panola County. This tornado snapped several trees while in Panola County before crossing Hwy. 43 into extreme southern Harrison County. Winds were estimated at 86-95 mph.
23:52Z EF1 KSHV TX Harrison Cave Spgs This tornado was a continuation of the tornado that moved out of extreme northwestern Panola County and into extreme southern Harrison County. This tornado continued to snap several trees before lifting as it crossed Hwy. 43. Winds were estimated at 86-95 mph.
00:00Z EF0 KSHV TX Wood Debbie Multiple trees were snapped along a 3 mile track just north of Hwy. 80 in Wood County. The tornado touched down 7 miles west of Hawkins and continued east northeast ending on Cr. 3840. Winds were estimated at 75-85 mph.
00:04Z EF2 KSHV TX Harrison Gill A few trees were snapped at their base and had large limbs broken off with the initial touchdown along FM 2625 just west of Highway 59. The tornado continued northeast paralleling FM 2625 causing sporadic tree damage until it reached the intersection of FM 2625 and Taylor Road. The tornado strengthened rapidly in a short timeframe causing EF2 damage to two residential homes and EF1 damage to a third. One house completely lost its roof while another had an entire room destroyed. The third home had its metal roof peeled off while sustaining partial wall failure. Numerous trees in the vicinity of the homes were completely toppled or had their tops sheared off. The tornado continued to the northeast where it intersected Blocker Road near FM 2625 causing various amounts of tree damage to several trees there. The tornado continued to the northeast dissipating over a logging road a mile to the east of Blocker Road. Maximum winds were estimated at 120-125 mph.
00:15Z EF0 KFWS TX Navarro Hester A NWS Storm Survey determined an EF-0 tornado began approximately 5.5 miles northeast of Corsicana. This tornado had a path length of approximately 0.5 mile and an estimated width of 100 yards. Some tree damage occurred with this tornado and winds were estimated near 70 mph.
00:17Z EF1 KSRX AR Polk Wickes A house had its porch and part of its roof blown off. Much of the roof was blown off a mobile home. Trees were blown down.
00:18Z EF2 KLVX KY Grayson Tar Hill An NWS storm survey comfirmed an EF-2 tornado with maximum wind speeds between 120 and 125 mph touched down in Grayson county along Danny Sadler Rd. On Danny Sadler Road a single wide trailer was destroyed and farm equipment was thrown 50 yards. The tornado continued to the northeast for approximately 2.7 miles before lifting in Hardin county near Burkhead Ln. Elsewhere along the path numerous large hardwood trees were snapped and uprooted. Numerous barns and outbuildings were destroyed with their siding thrown 500 yards. A new 24 foot travel trailer was destroyed. Fifteen homes had major roof damage.
00:19Z EF0 KLVX KY Grayson Tar Hill An NWS storm survey confirmed that an EF-0 tornado with maximum winds of 75 mph touched down just south of Danny Sadler Rd. The tornado was on the ground for less than a minute and it was a secondary circulation just south of the parent tornado. Trees were snapped and uprooted along its path and power lines were blown down.
00:21Z EF0 KLVX KY Hardin Solway An NWS storm survey confirmed an EF-2 tornado with maximum wind speeds between 120 and 125 mph touched down in Grayson county along Danny Sadler Rd. The tornado was weakening as it crossed into Hardin county. Here is was rated an EF-0 with estimated winds of 80 mph. Multiple trees were snapped or uprooted. The tornado lifted just west of Burkhead Ln.
00:24Z EF0 KSHV TX Harrison Jonesville A few trees were snapped with the initial touchdown just north and along Interstate 20 near the Highway 80 exit just west of Waskom. The tornado continued northeast causing sporadic tree damage along Bellview Road. The tornado then continued northeast where it toppled several large trees and knocked down large limbs along Concord Road between FM 134 and Owen George Road. The tornado continued northeast where it took the tops off of a few trees along Owen George Road. The tornado continued northeast knocking over a few trees along FM 9 where it finally dissipated. Maximum winds were estimated at 70-75 mph.
00:34Z EF0 KSHV LA Bossier Willow Chute Several large trees were toppled and a few large limbs were broken off trees at the entrance of the Magnolia Chase Subdivision along Benton Road just south of the city of Benton. The tornado continued to the north-northeast where it broke off large limbs on a few trees along Benton road near Jacobs Trail. The tornado continued to the northeast where it snapped a tree at its base and knocked down a few large limbs along Palmetto Road south of the city of Benton. The tornado continued northeast where it toppled a large tree near the intersection of Larkin Street and Palmetto Road and finally dissipated. Maximum winds were estimated at 70-75 mph.
00:35Z EF1 KGRK TX Limestone Groesbeck A NWS Storm Survey determined an EF-1 tornado occurred in Groesbeck. This tornado had a path length of approximately one mile and an estimated width of 75 yards. Tree and building damage was observed along the path, mainly in downtown Groesbeck. The Courthouse, the Dairy Queen, the Tire Shop, the Lord's Store House, and the Volunteer Fire Department sustained building damage. An estimated 40 businesses sustained some type of damage, and the steeple of a baptist church was ripped off. Window damage to buildings and cars was caused by the winds and flying debris. Winds were estimated between 85 and 90 mph.
00:46Z EF2 KSHV TX Panola Deadwood The National Weather Service conducted a storm survey in Panola County Texas, and determined that a tornado first touched down in eastern Panola County near FM 3359 and then moved northeast into Desoto Parish, Louisiana. Several trees were uprooted and/or snapped just before crossing into Desoto Parish. Winds were estimated at 110 - 115 mph.
00:48Z EF0 KGRK TX Limestone Lost Prairie A NWS Storm Survey determined an EF-0 tornado began approximately 1.5 miles southwest of Personville. This tornado had a path length of approximately 0.75 miles and an estimated width of 100 yards. Some tree damage occurred with this tornado and winds were estimated near 75 mph.
00:48Z EF2 KSHV LA De Soto Longstreet This tornado was a continuation of the tornado which first touched down in eastern Panola County, Texas. This tornado then moved across the state line into western De Soto Parish where it mostly exhibited EF0 to EF1 type damage. A few locations near Keachi, Longstreet and Frierson exhibited low end EF2 damage. Trees were snapped and uprooted���as many as 3 dozen homes sustained minor damage���with a few moderately damaged homes where carports were peeled back or trees fell on them. Several barns were knocked over or destroyed as well. The heaviest damage was located in the community of Frierson where widespread tree damage occurred and the tornado was at its widest point. Other damage along and just south of the tornado track is related to rear flank downdraft otherwise known as straight line winds. The tornado tracked into De Soto Parish across Belle Bower Texas Line Road���State Route 3015 where trees were snapped off 4 to 6 feet off the ground and 2 tanks from a gas well were overturned. The tornado continued northeast crossing State Route 5 between Keachi and Longstreet���then crossed Smyrna Road knocking over trees onto and around homes. The tornado crossed hwy 171 south of the hwy 5 and 171 intersection and followed along Jessie Lattin where a several homes were damaged and barns destroyed. The storm continued northeast crossing I49 where Red Bluff road crosses under. Numerous trees were downed and increased in coverage as the storm moved into Frierson. The tornado then entered southeast Caddo Parish. Maximum winds are estimated at 110 - 115 mph.
00:49Z EF0 KSHV TX Smith Tyler Multiple trees were snapped and uprooted along a 3 mile track just inside Northwest Loop 323 and north of Martin Luther King Blvd. A tornado touched down 2 miles northwest of downtown Tyler on Cecil Street and traveled east ending near the intersection of North Northeast Loop 323 and CR 376. Winds are estimated at 75-85 mph.
00:49Z EF0 KSHV TX Smith Tyler Multiple trees were snapped and uprooted along a nearly three mile track just inside Northwest Loop 323 and north of Martin Luther King Blvd. The tornado first touched down on Cecil Street and traveled east ending near the intersection of North Northeast Loop 323 and CR. 376. Winds were estimated at 75-85 mph.
00:53Z EF1 KLVX KY Hardin Glendale Jct An NWS storm survey confirmed an EF-1 tornado with maximum wind speeds of 100 to 105 mph touched down about 2 miles east-northeast of Glendale. The tornado formed just west of Interstate 65 and crossed the highway, the Hardin County Fairgrounds, and lifted just east of the intersection of First Union Church Road and Sportsman Lake Road. On the fairgrounds the tornado struck a large livestock barn as well as the fairground's restaurant. The roof of the restaurant was thrown westward on top of a livestock barn. Metal siding was thrown 250 yards and several trees were snapped and uprooted. Near the end of the path there was roof damage to a one story house as well as downed power lines.
01:06Z EF0 KPAH KY Caldwell Cobb Tree limbs were blown down by this very short, weak tornado. The tornado was witnessed by a trained spotter. Peak winds were estimated near 65 mph.
01:16Z EF2 KSHV LA Caddo Gayles This tornado is a continuation of the tornado that first touched down in Panola County, Texas and then moved into De Soto Parish and then Caddo Parish. The tornado crossed the Wallace Lake Bayou, entering Caddo Parish and crossed the intersection of Ellerbe road and Hwy 1 where several pecan trees were snapped. Maximum winds are estimated at 110 - 115 mph.
01:22Z EF2 KSHV LA Bossier Elm Grove This tornado is a continuation of the tornado that first touched down in eastern Panola County, Texas, then moved into De Soto and Caddo Parishes in northwest Louisiana before moving into southern Bossier Parish. The tornado moved across Atkins Clark Road where a mobile trailer was flipped at a gas well injuring the occupants. The tornado continued northeast crossing Hwy. 154 and 157 intersection damaging trees and powerlines before weakening and lifting near Lake Bisteneau. Maximum winds are estimated at 110 - 115 mph.
01:27Z EF0 KNQA TN Hardeman Cloverport A weak tornado briefly touched down on Hill House Road near the Cloverport area and traveled northeast lifting just north of Toone. A tin roof on a home was peeled back. Numerous trees were knocked down in the area.
01:28Z EF0 KFWS TX Mclennan Leroy A NWS Storm Survey determined an EF-0 tornado began approximately 3.75 miles east-northeast of Elm Mott. This tornado had a path length of approximately a third of a mile and an estimated width of 50 yards. Some tree damage occurred with this tornado and winds were estimated near 75 mph.
01:35Z EF1 KBGM NY Otsego Gilbertsville A tornado touched down in woods near Route 51 between Mount Upton and Gilbertsville, producing EF0 damage until reaching Copes Corners Road where it strengthened to EF1, snapping and uprooting trees through a heavily wooded area. It moved up the hill and across the athletic fields of the Gilbertsville-Mount Upton Central School. Here, it threw metal bleachers several hundred yards to the north. It also tore a press box off steel beams, hurled a railroad tie used in a parking lot over a hundred feet into a fence, broke off metal poles used for hanging netting, and bent a soccer goal back in the southward direction. The field was littered with small tree missiles pointing in both directions with a southward direction on the left side of the path. A portable toilet was lifted and dropped about a half mile away and some other light material was found almost a mile away. The tornado continued to the northeast passing south of Gilbertsville, with damage primarily to trees. The path continued to narrow and weaken, ending a couple miles east of Gilbertsville.
01:53Z EF0 KGRK TX Mclennan Trading House Res A NWS Storm Survey determined an EF-0 tornado began approximately 2 miles north of Mart. This tornado had a path length of approximately 1.5 miles and an estimated width of 30 yards. Some tree damage occurred with this small rope tornado and winds were estimated near 75 mph.
01:54Z EF1 KSHV LA Webster Ogden The National Weather Service conducted a storm survey in Webster Parish, Louisiana near Dubberly and concluded that damage was the result of an EF1 tornado. Numerous trees were snapped and uprooted south of Sibley, east of Hwy. 371. The tornado continued northeast into Dubberly where several homes sustained roof damage. Numerous trees were snapped and uprooted along Hwy 531 north of Dubberly. The tornado lifted as it approached Interstate 20. The storm responsible for this tornado is the same cell that produced a 42 mile long track across Desoto Parish. Maximum winds are estimated at 95-105 mph.
01:54Z EF0 KNQA TN Chester Jacks Creek A weak tornado touched down southwest of Jacks Creek and traveled northeast lifting just northeast of Jacks Creek. Numerous tree tops were broken off and many large trees were knocked down along the path. On Sweet Lips Road, a mobile home was damaged from a fallen tree. A couple of structures sustained roof damage. On Highway 100, trees and power lines were knocked down.
02:00Z EF0 KVWX KY Hopkins Mortons Gap Tree limbs were blown down, along with small signs. This very brief tornado, which was witnessed by trained spotters, contained estimated winds of 70 mph.
02:25Z EF1 KSHV LA Bienville Union Multiple trees were snapped and uprooted along a 5.5 mile track. A tornado touched down 7 miles west northwest of Quitman in Bienville Parish. The tornado continued northeast crossing Hwy. 147 and ending 8 miles southwest of Grambling near the Bienville/Jackson Parish line. Winds were estimated at 85-95 mph.
02:31Z EF0 KSHV LA Jackson Clay A few trees were blown over along Highway 818 between Clay, LA, and Woodville, LA, in far northern Jackson Parish with the initial touchdown of the tornado. The tornado then continued into southern Lincoln Parish. Maximum winds were estimated at 70-75 mph.
02:33Z EF0 KSHV LA Lincoln Barnet Spgs This tornado was a continuation of the tornado that first touched down in northwest Jackson Parish. The tornado paralleled Highway 167 to the northeast uprooting trees, tearing off the tops of trees, and knocking down large branches along the path. The tornado finally dissipated just to the northeast of the Ruston Golf and Country Club in the southern sections of the city of Ruston, LA, near Love Avenue. Maximum winds were estimated at 70-75 mph.

The tornado continued northeastward along Highway 144 in western Ouachita Parish snapping several very large trees just northeast of the Indian Village community. The tornado continued to knock over trees, ripping the tops off of trees, and breaking large branches out of trees along Highway 144 until it dissipated just west of the city of Calhoun just north of Highway 80. Maximum winds were estimated at 80-85 mph.
02:53Z EF1 KSHV AR Union Blanchard Spgs This tornado is a continuation of the tornado that moved out of northwest Union Parish, Louisiana and into Union County, Arkansas. The EF1 tornado damaged was confined mainly to trees in rural areas of Union County. Several trees were snapped and uprooted along the path. The tornado damaged the roofs of 5 to 6 homes in the community of Lawson, Arkansas. Only minor damage was noted. Over most of its path the tornado managed to avoid hitting homes and other buildings.
02:57Z EF0 KGRK TX Limestone Thornton A NWS Storm Survey determined an EF-0 tornado began approximately 4 miles south-southeast of Thornton. This tornado had a path length of approximately 0.75 miles and an estimated width of 100 yards. Some tree damage occurred with this tornado and winds were estimated near 75 mph.
03:33Z EF0 KSHV LA Ouachita Frizzell The tornado initially touched down just southwest of the intersection of Highway's 594 and 139 knocking over several trees. It continued to the north-northeast along Highway 139 where it caused most of its damage off of Trichel Lane and Vinwood Road where large trees were uprooted and large branches broken off of trees. The tornado dissipated just north of the intersection of Highway 139 and Stubbs Vinson Road where it finally damaged the roof of a home tearing several shingles off. Maximum winds were estimated at 70-75 mph.

A couple barns were destroyed west of town north of State Route 514. Several homes in town sustained minor to moderate roof damage. The tornado crossed 514 east of Hall Summit where numerous trees were snapped onto the road. The tornado continued east crossing 371 knocking over a few trees before lifting east of 371. A sheriff deputy witnessed the tornado crossing the highway east of Hall Summitt and was blocked in from falling trees. Maximum winds were estimated at 85-90 mph.

05:27Z EF2 KSHV LA Sabine Zwolle The National Weather Service conducted a storm survey from Zwolle, Louisiana eastward to north of Many, Louisiana and concluded damage was the result of an EF2 tornado. The tornado first touched down along CR 3229 knocking over trees and destroying a shed. The storm continued east crossing Hwy 191 where a 200 foot communications tower was bent to the ground and trees were snapped and uprooted near some homes. Further east along Hwy 171 two homes were completely destroyed. One home was destroyed by a large tree while the other was by the wind alone. The tornado continued east along Parish Road 1216 snapping trees and damaging roofs to homes. A few homes had their roof peeled back. At least a dozen homes sustained damage along 1216. What appears to be a downburst occurred near the intersection of 1216 and 175 feeding northeast into the tornado track which continued along cedar grove road. The tornado began to occlude near the area around cedar grove road and rocky springs road. Maximum winds are estimated at 110-120 mph.

05:42Z EF1 KSHV LA Natchitoches Robeline The National Weather Service conducted a storm survey in Natchitoches Parish in Louisiana and concluded that damage near Robeline was the result of an EF1 tornado with possible multiple vortices. This tornado was a continuation of the tornado that first touched down in northeast Sabine Parish. In Natchitoches Parish, the tornado produced damage near the Robeline Provencal Road. Along Hwy. 6, numerous homes were damaged largely from falling trees, however a few homes sustained roof damage from winds. Numerous carports were tossed or flipped. Numerous trees were snapped and or uprooted along the path as well. Southeast of Robeline along Robeline Provencal Road numerous trees fell on homes and cars where several homes were nearly destroyed. The tornado continued east snapping trees and moving into largely forested areas north of Big Hill Fire Tower Road. The tornado lifted shortly before reaching Hagewood south along Hwy. 117. This is one of two tornadoes which affected Natchitoches Parish where it is estimated that at least 100 homes received damage from the storms. Maximum winds are estimated at 95-105 mph.
05:42Z EF1 KSHV LA Sabine Ft Jessup The National Weather Service conducted a storm survey in Sabine Parish in Louisiana and concluded that damage was the result of an EF1 tornado with possible multiple vortices. The tornado first touched down northeast of Many along Hwy 6 and primarily paralleled HWY 6 to just southwest of Many where it turned right and continued on a more eastward track towards Robeline in Natchitoches Parish. Damage throughout Sabine Parish consisted mostly of uprooted and or snapped trees in the northeast corner of the parish. This tornado continued into Natchitoches Parish. Maximum winds are estimated at 95-105 mph.
05:43Z EF2 KDGX MS Sunflower Sunflower Along this tornado path, numerous trees were blown down along with a large portion of the roof taken off a home. Numerous outbuildings and barns damaged or destroyed. Several mobile homes were damaged either from trees falling on them or from the wind. One mobile home was destroyed and the frame was wrapped around a tree. A store(structure was like a mobile home) was destroyed along with several homes suffering major roof damage. A 100 ft. antenna was bent over and a second antenna was down and bent. Fifteen power poles were snapped along the path as well. Maximum winds were around 125 mph.
05:56Z EF2 KSHV LA Natchitoches Flora The National Weather Service conducted a storm survey in Natchitoches Parish and found evidence of an EF2 tornado. Maximum winds are estimated at 110-120 mph in the tornado. The tornado first touched down north of Flora along Hwy. 120 and headed north east snapping and uprooting trees. The tornado crossed and eventually paralleled Hwy. 478 just south of Natchitoches snapping trees and powerlines and knocking a tree into a brick home. The tornado knocked down powerlines onto Hwy. 1 and ripped up trees eastward along Lateral Road where one mobile home was moderately damaged by falling trees. The tornado weakened slightly as it crossed the Cane River and knocked over a few trees. The track continued eastward across the Red River into Winn Parish near the intersection of Hwy 71 and 477.
06:05Z EF2 KSHV LA Winn St Maurice The National Weather Service conducted a storm survey in Winn Parish and found evidence of an EF2 tornado. Maximum winds are estimated at 110-120 mph in the tornado. This tornado was a continuation of the tornado that first touched down in Natchitoches Parish earlier. The tornado crossed over the Red River into Winn Parish and took on more of an easterly track along Harrisonburg Road snapping and uprooting trees. The heaviest damage occurred near the community of Wheeling where the tornado grew to nearly half mile across and snapped nearly all the trees in its path. Several homes were severely damaged along Harrisonburg Road including a trailer which was flipped and destroyed. The tornado continued east crossing Hwy. 34 snapping trees and powerlines. The tornado knocked trees onto Hwy. 471 before lifting east of Hwy. 471.
06:12Z EF1 KDGX MS Yazoo Norway The tornado caused extensive tree damage along a path from U.S. Highway 49W north of Yazoo City, northeast along the west side of U.S. Highway 49E, to just northwest of the Eden Community. It caused roof damage to a home on Money Sunk Road, and damaged the front porch of another home. The tornado crossed Highway 49E at the Holmes County line, continuing to snap and uproot numerous trees. The tornado dissipated over the Hillside National Wildlife Refuge. Maximum estimated winds were 100 mph. The total path length across Yazoo and Holmes Counties was 9.6 miles.

06:18Z EF1 KDGX MS Leflore Sisloff Jct This tornado began in Tallahatchie County and tracked across part of Leflore County before crossing back into Tallahatchie County. The tornado touched down in a field snapping trees and limbs in a rural part of the county. Maximum winds were around 90 mph. Total path length across Leflore and Tallahatchie Counties was 27.7 miles.
06:21Z EF1 KDGX MS Holmes Bee Lake The tornado caused extensive tree damage along a path from U.S. Highway 49W north of Yazoo City, northeast along the west side of U.S. Highway 49E, to just northwest of the Eden Community. 06:24Z EF1 KDGX MS Leflore Sidon This tornado touched down in Sidon and a couple dozen trees were snapped and uprooted along the path as it moved to the northeast. Two trees were down on houses, one on a mobile home and another on a car. An old cover, for a mobile home, was also torn off. Maximum winds were around 90 mph.
06:36Z EF0 KSHV LA La Salle Tullos The National Weather Service conducted a storm survey in La Salle Parish and concluded that damage was the result of an EF0 tornado. The tornado first touched down on the southwest side of Tullos where an old building was destroyed when a wall collapsed and the roof caved in. Several trees were snapped off on both sides of Hwy. 165. The tornado continued east cross Hwy. 84 east of Tullos snapping a few trees. Trees were snapped sporadically along the track which ended near Hwy. 127 between Summerville and Olla. Maximum winds are estimated at 70-75 mph.
06:40Z EF3 KDGX MS Holmes Lexington This tornado started near the intersection of State Hwy 433 and Hebron Rd southwest of Lexington. A couple of trees were snapped at the point. The tornado continued northeast across Hwy 17 where a few trees were snapped. The tornado continued northeast where it caused significant damage to a couple of mobile homes on Arenia Mallory Rd along with several trees and a few power poles snapped. The tornado crossed Hwy 12 where it caused some roof damage to a business along with numerous snapped trees. The tornado continued northeast to Doe Rd and this is where it reached its widest point. Hundreds of hard and softwood trees were snapped along with 3 wooded high tension poles. The tornado was rated an EF3 at this point. The tornado continued northeast to Bethesda and Bowling Green Road where hundreds more trees were snapped along with some roof damage to a home. The tornado crossed Hwy 55 just west of West snapping trees and several power poles along the way. The tornado continued northeast to just south of Beatty where it merged with another tornado. Maximum winds were around 140 mph. Total path length across Holmes and Carroll Counties was 23 miles.
06:40Z EF2 KDGX MS Holmes Owens Wells The tornado started near Fowler Road, where a few trees were snapped and continued northeast to Highway 12. Here, numerous large hardwood and softwood trees were snapped along with several power poles. The tornado was rated an EF-2 at this point. The tornado continued northeast and crossed Ellington Road, where it snapped several more large hardwood trees. The tornado snapped several more power poles along with several hardwood trees off of Bowling Green Road before it crossed over I-55. The tornado was at its widest point after it crossed I-55, where it snapped numerous trees along County Road 68. The tornado continued northeast and snapped several large trees along Brister Road. The tornado ended near Stran Road, where it snapped numerous soft and hardwood trees, and also damaged the roof of a barn. Maximum winds were around 130 mph.
06:51Z EF0 KDGX MS Holmes Durant The tornado touched down near a farm on Huckleberry Road. It damaged the entire east facing half of a storage shelter and peeled off half of the sheet metal roof. This debris was thrown about 25 yards across Huckleberry Road into a field. As the tornado traveled to the north-northeast, it snapped a few hardwood and softwood trees and limbs. The tornado lifted just as it crossed County Road 68. Maximum winds were around 85 mph.

The tornado continued north-northeast and a home was pushed off its blocks off of Highway 19. Tin was completely torn off a roof at a church camp off of County Highway 4227. Several power poles were snapped along with hundreds of trees snapped and uprooted. The tornado was rated an EF-2 at this point as well. A mobile home and a shed was destroyed off of Highway 440 as the tornado continued on its north-northeast track. Part of the roof was torn off of a home on Highway 35. The tornado continued to snap and uproot trees until it crossed over into Montgomery County near County Highway 3205. The tornado ended in Montgomery County near Tom Mans Road where a few trees were snapped before it merged with another tornadic thunderstorm that moved into Poplar Creek. Maximum winds were around 125 mph. Total path length across Attala and Montgomery Counties was 23 miles.

The tornado weakened to an EF-1 as it moved into Chickasaw County. One home was destroyed which resulted in two injuries. Several other homes sustained minor damage from fallen trees. A barn was damaged and trees were uprooted near Highway 8 and Highway 47. Numerous trees were knocked down along the path. The tornado continued northeast into Monroe County, Mississippi.
08:17Z EF3 KGWX MS Monroe Gibson An EF-1 tornado moved northeast out of Chickasaw County into Monroe County. At least 31 homes and businesses sustained minor damage. Three injuries occurred in the Wren and New Wren area. Numerous trees were uprooted or snapped along the path. Power lines were also knocked down as well.

08:43Z EF2 KGWX MS Tishomingo Belmont A tornado touched down along County Road 864 in extreme Southern Tishomingo County and traveled northeast toward Belmont. Thirty homes and a few apartments were damaged or destroyed in Belmont. Two businesses were destroyed and the town's maintenance yard was severely damaged. Numerous trees and power lines were knocked down. One tree fell on a vehicle and trapped the driver. The tornado lifted northeast of Belmont near County Road 993.
09:01Z EF1 KGWX AL Lauderdale Waterloo A tornado of EF-1 intensity produced peak wind speeds up to 110 mph. The tornado touched down along County Road 90, 1 mile north-northeast of Waterloo. Here, numerous trees were snapped on the hillside along County Roads 90 and 78. Two docks along Second Creek sustained damage.||Just southeast of the intersection of County Roads 90 and 21, 3 residences sustained minor damage. The first home had its windows blown out on the upper floor. The second sustained shingle damage and had the rear wall of a garage blown out. The third had a portion of a garage picked up and thrown over the house about 75 yards. A brick was thrown through the back window of the residence. Numerous trees were snapped immediately to the southeast of this home.||The tornado continued along County Road 90. Near the intersection of Lester Hollow Road, several large/wide trees were snapped off from 8 to 15 feet off the base. To the east along Lester Hollow Road, trees were knocked onto 3 homes. The tornado produced significant tree damage as it progressed northeastward. At the intersection of State Highway 20 and County Road 40, a building had 3 awnings blown off, with one being deposited across Highway 20. The tornado then tracked into a wooded area and moved into Tennessee.
09:03Z EF1 KGWX MS Kemper Wahalak This tornado touched down in the Wahalak Community near Hwy 45 in Kemper County. It then tracked into Noxubee County in the Jenkins Quarters area and moved across Field Road before moving into the Noxubee River bottom. Trees were snapped in this area. The tornado emerged from the river bottom along Paulette Rd in the Cooksville Community. Here EF-2 intensity was observed as hundreds of trees sere snapped and uprooted along with part of the roof taken off a church and windows blown out of a house. A few homes in this area suffered minor damage as well. The tornado then crossed into AL, in the far southwest part of Pickens County, as an EF-2, and tracked to the Dancy, AL Community along Hwy 17. The tornado weakened in Dancy, but still was quite wide and downing trees/limbs along damaging a old shed. Maximum winds were around 125 mph. The path length across MS was 12.5 miles. The total path length across MS/AL was 34.5 miles.
09:05Z EF2 KGWX MS Noxubee Galyx This tornado touched down in the Wahalak Community near Hwy 45 in Kemper County, it then track into Noxubee County in the Jenkins Quarters area and moved across Field Rd before moving into the Noxubee River bottom. Trees were snapped in this area. The tornado emerged from the river bottom along Paulette Rd in the Cooksville Community. Here EF-2 intensity was observed as hundreds of trees sere snapped and uprooted along with part of the roof taken off a church and windows blown out of a house. 09:16Z EF1 KGWX AL Pickens Dancy A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System and touched down in Kemper County Mississippi (See Storm Data Jackson), then tracked northeast through Noxubee County before crossing into Pickens County, southwest of Dancy. The tornado weakened to an EF1 rating as it entered Alabama, with winds of 100 mph. As the tornado moved across AL Hwy 17 near Dancy, a barn with metal siding and roofing and two small silos were destroyed. Significant tree damage was noted along CR 85. The tornado crossed the Tombigbee River and moved parallel to CR 13. The tornado crossed AL Hwy 14 south of Aliceville, damaging a farm irrigation system. The tornado continued northeast, lifting near Hamilton Jr Craft Rd, northwest of Benevola. Dozens of trees were also downed along this path. The average path width of the Alabama portion of the tornado path was 0.5 mile (880 yds).
09:19Z EF1 KGWX AL Lauderdale Smithsonia A tornado with an EF-1 intensity produced peak wind speeds up to 90 mph. The tornado touched down 1 mile north of the intersection of County Road 2 and County Road 189 north of Smithsonia. Here, a large storage shed was demolished and a second was partially damaged. The tornado crossed the intersection of County Roads 189 and 221 where a staff member of the Emergency Management Agency for Lauderdale County was injured in his vehicle by broken glass. The tornado continued to the corner of County Roads 189 and 62 where the front end of a church was ripped off and 3 large trees were toppled in different directions. ||Adjacent to the church, a residence had exterior damage, where siding was ripped off and thrown approximately 300 yards into a field. Numerous twigs and sticks were driven into the side of the home and several windows were blown out. A 28 foot travel trailer was picked up, toppled and moved approximately 10 feet. Insulation was sucked out of the attic and into the garage, and the water heater in the home was imploded. The tornado then lifted northeast of this residence.
09:27Z EF2 KGWX AL Pickens Carrollton A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System. It touched down in central Pickens County, northwest of Carrollton, near the intersection of CR 7 and CR 26, where trees were snapped off. The tornado moved northeast and strengthened to an EF2 rating with winds of 120 mph as it approached CR 35 where it downed thousands of trees. The tornado crossed US Hwy 82 and AL Hwy 17 where it caused mostly tree damage across northwestern portions of Reform. East of AL Hwy 17, at least two outbuildings sustained roof damage along CR 3. Near the end of the tornado path, a home sustained minor wall damage and significant roof damage. The tornado lifted along CR 3, south of CR 57.
09:41Z EF1 KGWX AL Pickens Gordo This tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System in far eastern Pickens County, 5.5 miles south southeast of Gordo and moved northeastward for 3.46 miles. It crossed into Tuscaloosa County just to the west of Holman, south of AL Hwy 140. This tornado continued for almost 19 miles in Tuscaloosa County before dissipating 2.5 miles east northeast of Samantha. The tornado touched down east of AL Hwy 63, along Grover Plate Rd where it uprooted many hardwood trees. The tornado continued to cause tree damage as it moved northeast and approached the Tuscaloosa County line. The tornado damage in Pickens County was consistent with an EF1 rating and winds of 90 mph.
09:44Z EF3 KGWX AL Tuscaloosa Holman This tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System in far eastern Pickens County, 5.5 miles south southeast of Gordo and moved northeastward for 3.46 miles where it crossed into Tuscaloosa County just to the west of Holman, south of AL Hwy 140. This tornado continued for almost 19 miles in Tuscaloosa County before dissipating 2.5 miles east northeast of Samantha. As the tornado entered Tuscaloosa County and crossed US Hwy 82, its path widened to near 400 yds and it strengthened to an EF2 where it uprooted numerous trees. Northeast of Holman, the tornado strengthened to an EF3 with winds of 140 mph and caused significant damage to a home. It removed the roof and tossed it at least 200 yds. A 3500 pound trailer was thrown about 100 yds. The tornado continued northeast where it crossed AL Hwy 171 and US Hwy 43. Thousands of trees were snapped or uprooted and many homes sustained damage due to the fallen trees. In addition, at least 3 outbuildings sustained damage or were destroyed. The tornado tracked south of Samantha and dissipated along North Hagler Rd.
10:03Z EF1 KGWX AL Fayette Berry A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System. It touched down in southeast Fayette County, east of AL Hwy 13, along AL Hwy 18, southwest of Berry. This tornado maintained a small path width, averaging around 0.10 mile (176 yds). The tornado track paralleled AL Hwy 13 where it damaged several barns and knocked down many trees. The tornado moved through downtown Berry, where numerous businesses and homes sustained roof and wall damage. The damage was consistent with an EF1 rating and winds of 100 mph. As the tornado moved northeast of town, it weakened and dissipated near AL Hwy 18 and Simmons Rd.
10:17Z EF3 KBMX AL Tuscaloosa Coaling This tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System in southeast Tuscaloosa County, near Coaling and moved northeastward for approximately 18 miles. It crossed into Jefferson County between Interstate 20 and Bucksville, then continued for nearly 2 miles into Jefferson County. The tornado touched down in the southwestern extent of Coaling, north of CR 14, along Staghorne Dr where it damaged many trees. The tornado quickly strengthened as it moved through Coaling to an EF3 rating with winds of 155 mph, remaining south of US Hwy 11. At least a dozen homes sustained damage. Several homes were completely destroyed. The tornado weakened as it moved east of Coaling and crossed US Hwy 11. The tornado moved across the Mercedes Plant where it caused minor roof damage to one building, knocked down several light poles along Interstate 20 near the plant, and snapped numerous trees. This damage was consistent with an EF1 rating and winds of 100 mph. The tornado continued to cause tree damage as it moved northeast and approached the Jefferson County line.
10:18Z EF3 KBMX AL Walker Drifton A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System and touched down in rural southwestern Walker County, near the Fairview community. The tornado moved north northeast through Cordova before lifting near Lynns Park. The tornado touched down southwest of CR 6 and rapidly intensified to an EF3 rating with winds of 140 mph. Along Horseshoe Bend, a home was completely leveled, where it swept the foundation clean of the structure and debris. The tornado continued north northeast through the Richardson subdivision and across Pleasantville Road. It destroyed at least two single-wide manufactured homes. The tornado crossed US Hwy 269 where it weakened to an EF2 with winds of 120 mph and moved through the Aldridge community, where several homes were damaged, large trees were uprooted, and another single-wide manufactured home was tossed and obliterated. In Cordova, the tornado caused significant roof and parapet damage to brick buildings in the downtown area. The tornado crossed Old US Hwy 78 just east of the Mulberry Fork, where it snapped and uprooted trees and caused minor structural damage. The tornado continued northeast and dissipated south of County Road 22, less than a mile north of Old US Hwy 78. A second tornado, with winds of 140 mph, tracked through Cordova during the afternoon of the same day (between 1535 and 1605 CST) and caused more significant structural damage.
10:32Z EF0 KBMX AL Jefferson Kimbrel This tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System in southeast Tuscaloosa County, near Coaling and moved northeastward for approximately 18 miles. It crossed into Jefferson County between Interstate 20 and Bucksville and continued for nearly 2 miles into Jefferson County. The tornado weakened as it entered Jefferson County near Tingle Springs Circle to an EF0 and its path width gradually became less until the tornado lifted near the intersection of Old Tuscaloosa Highway and Lowetown Rd. Along its path in Jefferson County, the tornado caused tree damage.
10:38Z EF1 KHTX TN Lincoln Taft The tornado started near Bates Lane in the Carmargo community of Lincoln county. Trees were uprooted and snapped with some falling on a mobile home. The tornado continued to track east northeast with many trees twisted and snapped. Minor structural damage was noted to many houses with shingles blown off and damage to car ports. Along Old Carmargo road, an anchored mobile home was lifted up and rolled. The occupants were unharmed. Several vehicles were damaged in this area. Near the intersection with highway 231, several power poles were snapped at the base and a roof was blown off a trailer.
10:40Z EF1 KOHX TN Marshall Holtland An EF1 tornado with maximum winds 90 to 100 mph touched down around 540 am in northeast Marshall county. Damage began just west of the intersection of U.S. Highway 31a and Thick Road. The damage path was approximately 3 miles long. Maximum path width was 100 yards. Hundreds of trees were snapped or uprooted and several homes suffered roof damage.
10:47Z EF0 KOHX TN Rutherford Versailles Numerous trees were uprooted near Rockvale by an EF-0 tornado with peak winds around 75 mph.
10:48Z EF2 KBMX AL Cullman Wilburn A weak tornado touched down east of Cold Springs, toppling and snapping numerous trees. Several sheds sustained minor damage in this early part of the track. The storm crossed Highway 69 where it damaged a large shed. Additional damage was noted as the tornado tracked northeast across County Road 46, where trees continued to be snapped and damage sustained to many chicken coops, some of which collapsed. After crossing Interstate 65 just south of Dodge City, additional chicken coops and trees were damaged along the path of the storm.||The tornado then increased in strength as it approached Wallace State College in Hanceville, where winds were estimated to peak at 120 mph (EF-2 intensity). Eight large metal power poles were bent over just above the base and several campus buildings had significant portions of metal roofing torn off. A mid-rise under construction had its windows blown out, while the high-rise building sustained additional minor damage. The connected construction crane remained standing. To the south of the main track, in Hanceville proper, significant numbers of large pine, poplar and other hardwood trees were toppled onto houses. The roof of the high school gym in town was partly destroyed and additional small buildings near downtown Hanceville sustained damage..||The tornado continued its track northeast from Hanceville, nearly paralleling Highway 91. Between Center Hill and Walter, large hardwood trees were found snapped and twisted. In addition along County Road 645, a barn was nearly destroyed. Continuing northeast along a path, just south of Holly Pond along Highway 91, a portion (1/3 to 1/2) of a residential shelter or shed was destroyed and a portion of a chicken house was badly damaged.||Additional damage was seen along County Road 1742 and 1753, several miles northeast of Holly Pond, and along Highway 231 in extreme northeast Cullman county. This damage is considered to be with the same complex of storms that rolled across the area during the early morning hours April 27th, however there is too much distance between damage points to be considered one long track tornado.
10:50Z EF1 KOHX TN Lawrence Summertown The tornado first touched down near the intersection of Gresham and Moore Roads and lifted near the intersections of State Highways 240 and U.S. Highway 43. Hundreds of trees were snapped and several building suffered damage. A man suffered minor injuries when part of his home on Gresham Road collapsed.
10:50Z EF1 KBMX AL Shelby Quito A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System. It touched down in far northern Shelby County, less than one mile west of the intersection of Valleydale Road and Caldwell Mill Road, and tracked northeastward into southern Jefferson County. The tornado produced damage consistent with an EF1 rating and winds of 100 mph. Numerous trees were knocked down, causing damage to homes, apartment buildings, vehicles and power lines. The tornado crossed into Jefferson County just east of the intersection of Caldwell Mill Rd and Pahokee Trace.

10:53Z EF0 KBMX AL Jefferson Cahaba Hgts A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System, touching down in far northern Shelby County, northeast of Hoover. The tornado tracked northeastward crossing into southern Jefferson County, just east of the intersection of Caldwell Mill Rd and Pahokee Trace. The tornado weakened to an EF0 rating and produced tree damage until it lifted near the intersection of Acton Place and Caldwell Mill Rd.
10:53Z EF1 KBMX AL Jefferson Warrior A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System. It touched down in far northern Jefferson County, northeast of Warrior, and tracked northeastward into Blount County and across the western bank of Mountain Woods Lake before it lifted northeast of Sagefield Rd. The damage along the Jefferson County portion of the track was consistent with an EF1 rating with winds of 95 mph. The tornado touched down east of Old Hayden Rd, and tracked northeast where it downed dozens of trees along Mabel Dr. This resulted in damage to several homes. The tornado moved into Blount County near Sibleyville Rd.
10:54Z EF2 KBMX AL Jefferson Cahaba Hgts A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System. It touched down in south central Jefferson County where it affected the Cahaba Heights and Liberty Park communities of the Birmingham Metro area. The tornado touched down near Gresham Elementary School. It knocked down several trees along Country Ridge Pl. The tornado moved northeast and crossed US Hwy 280, near Dolly Ridge Rd where it knocked down numerous trees and damaging buildings along the highway. The tornado strengthened as it moved into Cahaba Heights where it produced damage consistent with an EF2 rating and winds of 120 mph. The most significant area of damage occurred between US Hwy 280 and Cahaba Heights Rd, near Cahaba Heights Elementary School, where numerous homes sustained significant damage from fallen trees. The tornado weakened to an EF1 rating with winds of 100 mph as it continued northeast, but still knocked down trees which resulted in damage to homes and businesses. The tornado crossed Interstate 459 south of Liberty Park knocking down dozens of trees, and continued northeast causing minor tree damage. The tornado lifted near Grants Mill Rd, 2 miles south of Interstate 459. A person was killed (indirect) during clean-up efforts.
10:54Z EF2 KBMX AL Blount Nyota A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System. It initially touched down in far northern Jefferson County, northeast of Warrior, and tracked northeastward into Blount County and across the western bank of Mountain Woods Lake before it lifted northeast of Sagefield Rd. As the tornado moved into Blount County near Sibleyville Rd, it intensified to an EF2 rating with winds of 135 mph. An outbuilding was destroyed and many trees downed near the county line. The tornado continued northeast, before making a slight eastward turn and moving along the western edge of Mountain Woods Lake. Along the lake, twenty to twenty-five homes were damaged with at least 3 homes destroyed. Three injuries occurred while a family was sheltered in their home, which was destroyed. In addition, multiple boat docks and garages were damaged or destroyed. Along the portion of the path in Blount County, hundreds of trees were snapped or uprooted.
11:02Z EF2 KHTX TN Moore Lois As the storm tracked into Moore county there was a wide swath of snapped and uprooted trees north of Lynchburg. In this area, hundreds of trees were leveled. The roofs of some homes were partially lifted and a church was also damaged in this area. Along the far northern reaches of the county (north of Motlow State Community College), a mobile home park sustained significant damage. Two mobile homes were thrown off their foundation with one being rolled. The tornado lifted before reaching the county border. The EF-2 rating is based on power poles being snapped near the ground close to the intersection of highway 110 and 231 and the nature of the widespread tree damage at the start of the track in Moore county.
11:12Z EF1 KBMX AL Blount Liberty A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System. It touched down in north central Blount County, northeast of Blountsville, and tracked northeastward into Marshall County (See Storm Data Huntsville). The damage along this track in Blount County was consistent with an EF1 tornado with winds up to 105 mph. The tornado touched down along AL Hwy 79, northeast of CR 26 where it knocked down trees and caused minor roof damage to two chicken houses. The tornado moved northeast and maintained a narrow path width averaging less than 0.10 mile (176 yds). The tornado crossed US Hwy 278 east of Brooksville and moved into Marshall county near CR 21. Along the path, the tornado knocked down hundreds of trees. Several homes sustained damage due to fallen trees. In addition, several outbuildings and barns were destroyed.
11:13Z EF2 KHTX TN Moore Cumberland Spgs This tornado was part of the same storm complex that produced a longer track EF-2 across much of Lincoln and part of southwest Moore county earlier in the morning. ||A tornado of EF-2 intensity produced peak winds speeds up to 115 mph. The tornado touched down along Motlow College Road just southwest of U.S. Highway 41A. The tornado destroyed at least one mobile home on Starbow Lane, rolled others off their foundations, and snapped and uprooted several trees. The tornado also damaged a church on Carr Creek Road. The tornado continued it's path into Bedford County.
11:15Z EF1 KHTX TN Bedford Normandy An EF1 tornado with maximum winds 90 to 100 mph touched down around 615 am in extreme southeast Bedford County. Damage was centered along Magnolia Lane and Winding Way Road. The damage path in Bedford and Coffee counties was approximately 1 mile long. Maximum path width was 75 yds. Hundreds of trees were snapped along the path.
11:16Z EF2 KBMX AL St. Clair Branchville A tornado developed along a Quasi-Linear Convective System. It touched down in central St Clair County, near Odenville. The tornado touched down in a field southwest of the intersection of AL Hwy 174 and Blair Farms Rd. As it moved northeast, it quickly strengthened to an EF2 rating with winds of 120 mph and caused significant damage to two multi-story brick homes, along AL Hwy 174. One house lost a large portion of its roof deck material. The well built detached garage of the other house was shifted off its foundation, with the intact roof landing and squashing the remaining structure. The tornado continued northeast and tracked parallel to US Hwy 411, before it lifted near the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road and Cedar Ln, where a few trees were blown down.
11:20Z EF0 KHTX AL Cullman Joppa This tornado initially touched down northeast of CR 1850 in Cullman county. It snapped numerous hardwood and softwood trees along it's path in this location. The tornado then quickly moved northeast into Marshall county, where it continued it's path into Marshall County.
11:22Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Red Hill As the tornado moved into Marshall county, its peak winds strengthened to around 110 mph, becoming an EF-1 intensity tornado. On Feemster Gap Road a mobile home was rolled over several times. The mobile home hit a tree and fell back on its side with the roof badly damaged and the frame bent. No injuries were sustained at this location, but residents that had been inside the mobile home took shelter in an underground storm shelter minutes before the tornado hit. Other mobile homes nearby only sustained minor damage to the roofs and flashing underneath. Northeast of this, another mobile home was blown several feet from its original location (as noted by the location of its remaining porch). Behind this mobile home, an unanchored outbuilding was rolled several times and numerous large trees were uprooted and snapped in the field behind the home.||As the tornado moved through the Johnsons Mill community, several barns were damaged, with one or two completely destroyed. A chicken house on Fry Gap Road was completely destroyed, as well, near the intersection of Fry Gap Road and Thompson Falls road. Further northeast, another chicken house sustained major damage but was not completely destroyed on Brazelton Road near Fry Gap Road.||Northeast of these locations, near the intersection of Warranton Road and Browns Valley Road, another chicken house was completely destroyed and numerous trees were splintered and snapped off near the base. The tornado was likely at its strongest at this location, with a width of 75 yards. Damage continued along the peninsula between Big Springs Creek and Browns Creek on Guntersville Lake. Trees were snapped and oriented in a convergent pattern along the peninsula as the tornado was weakening and eventually lifting near the intersection of Highway 431 and Highway 69.
11:22Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Nixon Chapel A tornado of EF-1 intensity with peak wind speeds of 95 mph tracked northeast from Blount County near County Road (CR) 21 (Big Spring Brow Road). The tornado uprooted and snapped numerous large hardwood trees from the Blount/Marshall county line to near the intersection of Cox Gap Road and Highway 64. Just farther northeast, additional trees were uprooted along Fairview Drive and between Nixon Chapel Road and Panky Road where the tornado appeared to broaden/widen its circulation before lifting before Pleasant Grove Road.
11:24Z EF0 KOHX TN Smith New Middleton EF-0 tornado began along New Middleton Rd, crossed Interstate 40, then lifted before reaching State Highway 53 south of Carthage. Hundreds of trees were snapped or uprooted.
11:24Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Red Hill A fast moving tornado of EF-1 intensity produced peak wind speeds of 95 mph. This tornado was associated with a broad yet well-defined mesoscale convective vortex. The tornado touched down along County Road 14 (Diamond Road), and Red Hill Road. Large hardwood trees were snapped and uprooted in a convergent pattern along County Road 14 (Diamond Road) as the tornado moved rapidly northeast. Significant roof damage occurred to several chicken houses along Red Hill Road just west of County Road 14. The tornado lifted just north of Brookline Ridge Road near the extreme south side of Lake Guntersville.
11:30Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Highpoint A tornado of EF-1 intensity produced peak wind speeds up to 110 mph. The tornado touched down near the intersection of Section Line and Beck Roads in Lattiwood. The tornado then moved northeast along Oneonta Cutoff Road and eventually crossed State Highway 205. The tornado snapped numerous hardwood and softwood trees along the path and knocked trees on residences. Snapped power poles were found along the path. Additional tree damage occurred northeast of Highway 205 near the intersection of Brashers Chapel and Wyeth Mountain Roads. Here, several barns were completely destroyed and numerous outbuildings had most of the tin removed from the roof.
11:30Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Hyatt A tornado of EF-1 intensity produced peak wind speeds of up to 110 mph. The tornado touched down just south of Guntersville near the intersection of Pleasant Hill and Section Line Roads (State Highway 166). From there, the tornado moved northeast crossing Pleasant Grove Road, snapping and uprooting numerous hardwood and softwood trees. At the intersection of Pleasant Hill Church Road and Community House Road, the steeple of the Pleasant Hill Church was removed and thrown about 100 feet. The porch columns were also removed. A residence next to the church sustained damage when the wooden front porch was removed and thrown behind the house about 100 feet. Roof damage resulted from large branches being knocked down onto the house. In a field across Pleasant Hill Road, a wide swath of trees were snapped and uprooted.
11:30Z EF2 KHTX AL Marshall Warrenton The tornado initially touched down just west of Guntersville Lake, near Spindle Top Drive and Highway 69. Numerous trees were snapped and uprooted in this location. The tornado then continued northeast across County Road (CR) 14 and across Cha-la-kee and Cotton Roads, where several homes had damage to shingles and numerous large trees were uprooted.||The tornado then moved northeast across Guntersville Lake and strengthened as it crossed Buck Island. Numerous trees were snapped and uprooted across the Buck Island community. Several power poles were snapped near their bases and numerous homes sustained minor roof damage. Several piers and sheds were also destroyed. Damage was rated EF-1 through this area.||Next, the tornado crossed east over Guntersville Lake and struck Lake Guntersville State Park as an EF-2. Hundreds of trees were twisted, snapped and uprooted through the northern half of the State Park. Several RV campers were damaged in the camp grounds and minor roof damage was observed at the camp lodge.||The tornado continued northeast, just to the east of Highway 227, where hundreds of additional trees were snapped and uprooted along the west-facing valley wall. The tornado moved northeast as an EF-2, destroying a trailer and rolling another near Oliver Road, between Williams and Martin Drive. A barn and shed were also demolished.||The tornado then continued northeast crossing Highway 227 near Morgan Cove Road, twisting and uprooting several trees.
11:30Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Highpoint A tornado of EF-1 intensity produced peak wind speeds up to 110 mph. The tornado touched down near the intersection of State Highway 325 and Max Graben Circle southwest of Albertville. From there, the tornado moved northeast across Section Line Road and State Highway 205. The tornado snapped and uprooted numerous hardwood and softwood trees along the path. Trees were knocked down onto several residences. The tornado crossed State Highway 431 north of Albertville near State Highway 426. As it crossed George Wallace Drive north of Highway 431, a chicken house was completely destroyed on Arbor Acres Road. Other chicken houses on the same property sustained roof damage and lost tin from the sides of the structures.
11:32Z EF1 KLVX KY Green Greensburg An NWS storm survey confirmed an EF-1 tornado with maximum winds of 105 mph touched down in Greensburg. Numerous windows and chimneys were damaged in downtown Greensburg. Trees were snapped and uprooted along US 68 throughout the path. Greensburg's industrial park suffered the worst damage when a brick building suffered exterior and interior damage. North of Bluff Boom Road the tornado significantly damaged a mobile home and destroyed two barns.
11:35Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Big Spgs A tornado producing EF-1 intensity and peak wind speeds of up to 95 mph touched down along Browns Valley Road near the south end of Lake Guntersville. The tornado tracked northeast along Browns Valley Road and Creek Path Road before lifting near State Highway 79. The tornado snapped and twisted trees along Browns Valley Road. As the tornado crossed a neighborhood along Creek Path Road, more substantial damage occurred. Larger trees were uprooted and one house sustained significant roof loss. The tornado lifted near Highway 79 and Creek Path Road.
11:35Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Grant An EF-1 tornado touched down on Crest Hill Road off of Cathedral Caverns Highway on the south side of Grant Mountain. As the tornado skipped along it's short path, several trees were snapped on Crest Hill Road. As it skipped northeast, two very large hardwood trees were snapped and uprooted on Edmonds Road. Minor roof damage was sustained to a house there. Just northeast of this location, the tornado lifted.
11:43Z EF0 KHTX AL Marshall Henryville A tornado of EF-0 intensity producing peak wind speeds of 85 mph touched down new Bakers Chapel Lane, just south of Bakers Chapel Road. The most significant damage was an area of uprooted trees along Bakers Chapel Road just west of U.S. Highway 431 / State Highway 1. The tornado continued northeast and crossed State Highway 79 where a few tree tops were snapped.
11:45Z EF0 KHTX TN Coffee Ragsdale An EF0 tornado with maximum winds 70 to 80 mph briefly touched down around 645 am in northeast Coffee County. Aamage was noted along Swann and Rock Roads. The damage path was around 1 mile long and 50 yds wide.
11:45Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Guntersville Muni Ar A tornado of EF-1 intensity produced peak wind speeds of up to 105 mph. The tornado tracked northeast from Lake Guntersville near McKee Island, west of State Highway 79 across the north end of Buck Island, then lifted near Star Point. The tornado damaged a marina just west of Highway 79 where a canopy collapsed. The tornado then crossed Joe Starnes Field (Airport) and snapped and uprooted many trees along Buck Island Road on the north side of Buck Island. The tornado produced damage over Star Point, along Milky Way Road, Monsanto Road, and Star Point Road. Trees were mostly snapped, twisted and uprooted at these locations. The tornado crossed over Lake Guntersville at several locations along its path.
11:45Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Martling A tornado of EF-1 intensity produced peak wind speeds of 90 mph. This short-lived tornado did most of its damage over portions of Lake Guntersville State Park, near the entrance and across the golf course. Many trees were snapped with a few larger pines uprooted. The tornado continued briefly north-northeast crossing State Highway 227 before lifting near South Sauty Road and Highway 227 after snapping additional trees.
11:47Z EF1 KOHX TN Jackson Whitleyville Thousands of trees were snapped or uprooted in a narrow path from along State Highway 56 near the South Fork Road intersection northeast to State Highway 53 just south of the Clay County line. Maximum wind speeds were near 100 mph.
11:49Z EF1 KHTX AL Dekalb Grove Oak The tornado continued its path briefly northeast into DeKalb County, mainly snapping large tree limbs off of trees and uprooting a few trees. The tornado then dissipated between Grove Oak and Bucks Pocket State Park near CR 19 and CR 544.
11:49Z EF0 KOHX TN Jackson Mt Union EF-0 tornado with maximum wind speeds between 75 and 80 mph crossed Highway 111 near the Rickman Community. Dozens of trees were snapped or uprooted. Some of the trees fell on homes and vehicles.
11:49Z EF1 KHTX AL Marshall Guntersville Lake A tornado of EF-1 intensity initially touched down between Buck Island and Pine Island on Guntersville Lake in northeast Marshall County. Numerous hardwood and softwood trees were snapped along Highway 79 as the tornado skipped northeast. The tornado touched down again near Pine Island. Numerous homes sustained damage from trees falling on them in a convergent pattern as the tornado moved along the shore of the lake on Preston Island. At this point in the tornado path, width was estimated at 100 yards.
11:50Z EF1 KHTX TN Warren Vervilla An EF1 tornado with maximum winds 105 to 110 mph affected Warren County beginning around 650 am. Damage began northwest of Viola on State Highway 287. The damage path then followed State Highway 108. The last evidence of damage was approximately 3 miles southeast of McMinnville.
11:58Z EF1 KHTX AL Jackson Section A tornado of EF-1 intensity produced wind speeds of up to 110 mph. The tornado touched down just south of Section, crossing State Highway 35, then traveling nearly parallel to State Highway 71, through Dutton, into southern portions of of Pisgah before crossing into far northern DeKalb County. The tornado uprooted and snapped numerous trees along its path, knocking out power in many locations. One fatality occurred in the Pisgah area associated with this tornado.||The tornado took a very similar track to a violent tornado of EF-4 intensity later during the afternoon of the 27th. This made it very difficult to distinguish damage between the two tornadoes. Several eyewitnesses remarked about the morning tornado location and damages.
